You bought the same as what ilikeit linked above except paid 4c extra by going through ebay. The one linked in this bargain is considered 'a quality name'. Some people might consider that worth the extra. Is the Xioami branded one cheaper via eBay?

  • I've now received two emails saying it's still out of stock. Hopefully it will actually arrive at some point!

  • got an email on the 4th June..I ordered on 29th May - 1 blue and 1 black

Actually, Klick app on play store works well!

      • is that in english or chinese? trying to see if an ENG version is out there..

EDIT: jks it is in english

    • Yeh I have the same problem, and can't use the mic with Google now when it's plugged in. Another mic issue? not sure if this can be changed in settings…

EDIT: nvm i just replugged it in and selected "Klick" inserted instead of headphones

  • Got mine today! Works pretty well, except I can't launch anything

    • except I can't launch anything.

Hmmm… That part of the comment sort of negates the earlier part where you stated that it "Works pretty well"

      • Sorry, I meant I couldn't launch anything from my lockscreen. But other than that it works good.

  • finally I got mine today. Only i realized that it only works on Android and I have an iPhone4s

Btw it works perfectly fine as a dust cap

  • How would you programme the "gesture"? There are only six. One click, two clicks, three clicks, long press, 1 click + long press, two clicks + long press?

  • i got mine today but its not working. tested on Galaxy Note 3 but not working. any tips or tricks to get it working?

  • For me it was as simple as downloading the app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.helloklick…
plug the damn thing and set it up with the app, it might be neccesary to give it the device admin privilege, but other than that, easy as pie on a Galaxy S5

  • Just received it, button functionality works fine. However, it disables all audio so I can't hear any incoming calls… any fixes?

I'm using the AudioPress app because there's no way in hell that I'm giving a Chinese app full permissions to my phone.

Lol…. Just download the proper app (and get over your racism) which is surprisingly smooth and clean, and then everytime you insert a headphone jack, it asks whether you want Klick or Headphone mode.

  • Got my button today… Seems to work well

  • received mine today and tried the klick app again. Unimpressed with limited functionality. Later, I found out that Pressy released their app today, but requires a activation code. Preventing clones from using their app. Did further digging and found AutomateIt. It is similar to Tasker, but has a "pressy plug-in".

I tried using it, but it doesn't respond to my clicks. Can somebody confirm it with me? I installed the AutomateIT Pressy Plugin too.

    • Abracadabra, uninstall Klick, MiKey and any other 'pressy' like apps. Then unplug the pressy and plug it back in. Then try it. After doing that I'm able to use AutomateIT and the pressy plugin. Works amazingly well and has more functionality than the other apps.

      • Is this the one you two are referring to? Is it Pro or Free?

        • Yes thats the one. Pro just unlocks more features

      • That's weird, when I tried using that all, it forces closed on me. What version of android are you running and what device are you using? I am using gs3 running custom kit Kat Rom. Maybe it is not compatible with kit Kat?

        • I'm on a Nexus 4 with kitkat (4.4.3)

It does seem to be a bit flaky though. It seems that without one of the apps installed sometimes automateit works but othertimes the button defaults back to a headphone button and turns music on/off which is pretty annoying.

Although to be honest the most useful function I've found for the pressy is to turn music on/off anyway so maybe I'll just use it without any apps :)

  • Arrived, so far I've found the klick app to be the best. I just have it set to long press takes a picture.

Fwiw, the xiaomi one is the nicer of the two models with a better feeling clicky button (I bought both models)

Hmm… still haven't received mine. Might have to start a Paypal dispute soon…

  • never got mine either.

  • Finally got mine today!

  • I got mine today as well. It took 8 weeks to get it to regional W.A. Felt like forever, but I guess its a pretty standard time-frame for the likes of these stores.

  • I got mine a week ago.

Doesn't work for me. It doesn't detect any button press. I tried with multiple apps on my Nexus 5. I raised the issue with TinyDeal and they're unwilling to provide me with a replacement or full refund.

    • It was a bit fiddly for me. Didn't work straight away, but did eventually work. Try restarting your phone maybe?

      • +1

        Nopes, no luck.

I do not recommend this seller because of their dreadful customer service. They refused a full refund and offered to give me AU$1 in points instead. I certainly won't be buying from them again.

        • And their shipping is so slow you're outside of PayPal refund window…. At least it's only $2.
