    Good price for good lens - good for crop cameras - well built and "near L-lens quality". I have the Canon mount one but please note - some have issues with soft focusing - mine seem fine but now probably needs to be calibrated via usb cap accessory or return fixed via warranty claim.

    Also noteworthy is that:

    1. Zooming ring is reverse to standard L-Len.
    2. This lens weighs nearly 1 kg on it's own
    3. limited zoom may be frustrating - other consideration would be the Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 for crop.
    4. Bokeh galore! :)

      I'm having the same soft focusing issues with my Sigma 18-35 on a 70D.
      Where is a good place to get it calibrated in Melbourne?

        I'm not sure but was planning to claiming my within 2 year warranty from the Store where I purchased from (CamerasDirect).

        There is a Sigma dock (Cannon or Nikon mount) you an purchase to use to calibrate the lens but this is another ~$80:
