Rate of Read is from 35MB/s and Rate of Write is from 20MB/s on USB 3.0 host

    • Is that slow or ok?

        it's almost ok …
        … for USB 2.0

It's ok, not great. The PNY USB 3 32GB drives are about $20 shipped from Amazon and are significantly faster.

Slow, fast is around 250Mbps. I use UserBenchmark as a reference guide.

        Lol

Centrecom has good deals… sometimes… very rear times…

But usually it's a catch (on the edge of fraud)

        • $3 Corsair Raptor M30 Gaming Mouse and $4.50 Gigabyte Aivia Osmium Mechanical Gaming Keyboard on Thursday when a Centrecom rep posted here about their sale.

Too bad the community here was so negative and complained about the lack of specific deals in the post instead of giving the rep a chance to fix the post. Was up for maybe 10-15 minutes before it was removed.

  • special price will end on 2/06/2014 7:00:00 AM :( TOO LATE !!

    Ha-ha-ha:

32GB Strontium JET USB Flash Drive is designed based on the USB 3.0 standard …

It doesn't say that it supports USB 3.0 any where! LOL!

    • Support USB 3.0 (version 1.0) High speed to Super speed DTR

      • Ok, my bad, it actually says that it "support" USB 3.0, but it's even more funny that their "USB 3.0" is slower then many years old USB 2.0.

BTW: 35MB/s read, 20 MB/s write is for their 64GB model.

  • sorry guys - i'm a bit of a noob - should have said I have 2 posted to Melbourne suburbs for $2 postage

  • $9 shipping for Canberra.

  • Deal expired the price is now $35. Oh well too late.
