Do you want to learn what the world’s fastest growing companies are doing to acquire users?

Commonly referred to as “growth hacking” you'll find this unique set of skills in people today who are getting paid hundreds of thousands in cash and equity to help acquire users for high-growth startups.

It turns out, this very set of skills are valuable in whatever stage your company is in, whether you need an initial stream of growth to test your product out, or you're creating a sustainable growth program to acquire new users at a company like Facebook, Dropbox or LinkedIn.

So how do you learn to do growth?

Well, if you think learning to “growth hack” is just about passively absorbing information – think again. Growth hackers weren’t born that way. They learned by actually doing it. Other experts would agree:

“Growth Hacking is learned by doing.”

-Sean Ellis, Coined the term “growth hacking” and Founder at growthhackers.com

“I’ve been asked by quite a few folks on how to learn the discipline of [growth hacking]. The best answer is, learn from someone who’s already good at it.”
-Andrew Chen, Former EIR at Mohr Davidow

In this “course” you will
1. Improve or develop your product’s landing page.

This course will take you through the best content and tools I know of developing or improving a landing page.

Importantly, on top of this, you’ll get access to an active community of experts and students to provide feedback on your landing page. They could even serve as your first users! Even experts who’ve been doing this for years, get feedback on their page, and this course is the only place on the web I know of where to do it.

Can’t design and program a landing page? Don’t worry, we’ll give access to a tool called Unbounce (you get a 3-month subscription with $300+ for FREE). I’d argue that even if you can develop websites, Unbounce will allow you to quickly iterate based on data you’ve collected, which brings me to..

  1. Iterate on designs based on data you've collected.

I’ll show you the process experts use to quickly learn whether something will or won’t work. The focus of this course is the part of your product that most people will likely land on at first, the homepage, although similar principles apply to other parts of your product.

To translate this in Seth Godin terms, I’m going to get you to “thrash early” and provide a ready community of students in a similar position to you to bounce ideas off of and learn from the tests they implement.

  1. Acquire users through free and paid campaigns.

Beyond changes that you can do on your site and in person, we’re going to take the next step depending on where you’re at with your product, whether that’s through free channels or paying for traffic.

Get to this stage too early and you’ll end up wasting valuable resources, so we’ll get you to this step at the right time.

What will you get?
This course includes everything you need to get started including:

  • Step-by-step guide conducting growth experiments on the highest point of leverage in your product, your landing page.

  • $300 worth of Unbounce usage to develop quick iterations of high-quality landing pages without a technical background.

  • Links to over $300 worth of paid advertising on Bing, Twitter, Facebook and Google.

  • A growing community of hundreds of fellow students who are in the same position as you.

  • Mentorship from experts who get paid tens of thousands in consulting fees to consult on user growth.

In this course you'll be empowered with the online curriculum, community and mentorship you need to do create the experiments which can lead to phenomenal growth.

Who is this course for?
- This course is for anyone who’d like to build a compelling landing page they would like to drive traffic to or wants to learn about growth. This includes entrepreneurs, product managers and marketers

Don’t have a product? We’ll give you one.

If you’re looking to get hired at a startup, they’re not going to ask you what your certification is. A startup is going to ask you what you’ve actually done and how did you think about solving problems to get results.

At first, we'll point you to the exact information you need. But once we review that, guess what? You are in the firing line. You’ll get access to us to report your actual results and get the feedback you need to set you on the right path.

Each week, you’ll see your own progress and the progress of your peers to motivate and move you along. Not only that, but you'll also be growing your or someone's product as we go along.

Why are we teaching this class?

One word. Impact.

Instead of getting paid to grow products through consulting fees, what would happen if I gave you the tools and critical feedback you need to do it yourself? How many thousands of products can we create an impact on?

Here are some of the results from two recent students:

"Was able to get 3,000 views in a little over an hour."
- Brandon Pindulic, Student in Learn by Doing

"In just one day, I got 19 conversion on my website without spending anything."
- George Liu, Student in Learn by Doing

Not a lot of people get a chance to work with us in this way and in the end, there's an incredible amount we can all learn from each other.

In either case, you have a 100% happiness guarantee, so what are you waiting for?

See you inside.
