Found some Wiimote steering wheels at Kmart Burwood One for $3. Nice to use these instead of just the wiimote when playing Mario Kart. They are generic Kmart branded but at $3 I reckon its worth a try over the $19.95 Mario kart official wheels.

 - Haven't tried it yet but there are steering wheels with and without the front cover (horn), giving you access to all the buttons, thus allowing you to powerslide. - They have steering wheels with a front cover for a horn? o.O

 - I prefer using the nunchuck with the wiimote as I like using the stick to turn instead of the motion control.
 - I bought 2 of these for the kids, for $3, cant complain at all. - I prefer nunchuk and wiimote myself, but had a crack with this, and it is better than I thought. Nice find.
 - I got myself 10 plastic picnic plates for $1 and just tape the control to the face of it. That way whenever I crash I just throw the damaged plate away and start again with a new steering wheel/ plate. - That's logical

 - Does anyone know the best place to buy Wiimotes? I just bought a Wii U with MK8 and a Pro Controller, but it's nice to have the spare two Wiimotes when you have friends round. Playing MK8 with just the Wiimote (no nunchuk) was actually quite good. - While all the non-genuine ones I've bought have been lousy, these ones are cheap enough to ignore the low quality methinks. $9 + $5 delivery - https://www.bigw.com.au/entertainment/video-games-consoles/w…

 - I personally can't stand the tilt controls for gaming. - There is also a $7 nunchuck which is much better for Mario Kart here.

Maybe its just personal preference but I cant stand playing Mario Kart with a steering wheel. How do you power slide properly with one of these! ;)
Great bargain for those that do like them though!
