  • It is indeed the best price for Mario Kart + Wheel … just bought one!

  • While this isn't a bad price (actually, it's about the lowest price I've seen Mario Kart drop to), it will still be cheaper to get 2 games for about $20 dollars each and bring those two to JB HiFi and trade for Mario Kart. An example I saw in Kmart yesterday was My Sims party and Smarty Pants for Wii, which were selling for $20 dollars each and as of yesterday were both not on the JB HiFi exclusions list. That'd make your total price for Mario Kart $40 instead of $89. I lucked out this one time and found a bunch of Kmart games at $15, so actually I only paid $30 for my Mario Kart. A lot of people seem to suggest buying Avatar and Sponge Bob Squarepants as well, although I don't know where this is on sale at.. perhaps try EB Games while they're still on sale, you could pick up a couple of other trade-able titles at the $20 - sub $20 range.

The above suggestion means a saving of about $20, fair enough if you don't consider that worth your time, then buying it straight out for $61.95 is still the cheapest 'buy-straight-out" price around.

    • Ranma, can you tell me do JB still have the Mario Kart offer for trade in?
      Thanks

      • Yes they do, it's not advertised online or in their catalogue, but if you walk in you'll see it. That's confirmed here in WA, and in Sydney… so I supposed it's still in all of them.

        • just to elaborate on ranma's comment - you specifically look for a fluoro yellow sticker on the box that mentions something along the lines of "trade 2 games, get me free"

      • They got the Wii Sports Resort trade in now … + you'll get the MotionPlus … now how do you find out the exclusions list?

    • Or how about this - the JB store I went to earlier today had Tiger Woods PGA 08 and NBA Live 08 for $20 each. So buy them - walk out of the store, then walk back in and pick up Mario Kart for $40.

  • Okay I just came back from EB Games, let me tell you what I did.. hmm actually.. maybe I'll just make a new post for it.
