I was just flicking through the new Dick Smith catalog and noticed that the new UFC game on XB1/PS4 is $64.98 (save $10) if you preorder it at Dick Smith before its release date on Thursday (19th).
The deal seems to be only available in-store as the online price is still saying $99.

I'm guessing for the same reason I would. I am a huge MMA fan. The demo was a bit of a letdown but I'm still buying it regardless.
The demo was a tad disappointing so I'll wait for some reviews to see if it's more polished.
I'll probably preorder it anyway in case it turns out good. I can always cancel it.
I am a sucker. I couldn't resist and purchased it from the US PSN store for about $64 AUD. The game looks more polished graphics wise for sure. Still has those weird mini-lags when browsing through the game which is weird. I am waiting for it to finish downloading fully to check out career mode and play online :D
I'll still play half buggy games, hell I played BF4 for a good part of 6 months before I gave up on DICE putting out a half decent game - well it was half decent but just too many bugs/glitches for me.
The EA UFC game wasn't too bad but still ran into bugs every second fight or so, arms going through other body parts, even the knock out sequence shit me, like you knock the person out but you can't keep on hitting them, you can keep punching the air though, I thought that was stupid. How Gus can land a spinning back head kick quicker then Jones can throw a jab I don't know.
Hopefully it'll be resolved in a couple of patches or two.
