I do have a couple of units available in each colour. Drop by the Preston store and we will be happy to honor the $69 price provided they are not sold prior.

You can call us on 94169943 to organise a deposit over the phone.

That's without the Sub, which is going for $300 by itself.

    • +2

That pack on eBay doens't include the subwoofer.
If you look on the same seller he also sells the sub seperatly for $299.95.
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Pure-Acoustics-RB1150B-active-sub…

Therefore total for the same package via eBay is: $249.95 + $299.95 = $549.9

      Hence this is a bargain.

Please read the deal carefully before down voting. Thank you.

  • Can these puppies handle 39,600W of PMPO? If not, then they aren't the "powerful top-of-the-line system" that you described, are they? :-P

I am buying a Sony Shake system to sonically cook my meals.

  • Do you have the Monoprice 10565? If No then are u able to get it?

    • Unfortunately we don't stock the Monoprice speakers.

  • Hi Jason - you don't happen to have any of those pioneer bookshelf for $119?

    • +2

No sorry we have sold out yet again! We did manage to get another 60 units but they all sold within a couple of days.

We are working on something with Pioneer so keep an eye out on the website!

      • Any chance that deal with Pioneer includes stocking some of their floorstand speakers to complement the Pioneer bookshelf speakers we all bought? :)

        • +1

Stay tuned! We are working on something at the moment.

  • Looking at HT for new media room.
Was interested so I did a quick google for Pure Acoustics HT-770
The cube speakers sell for roughly US$25-$33ea @ Sears, Walmart and BestBuy
A few forum members say they are light in weight / cheaply made.

Yet I notice your bundle pack: http://www.rio.com.au/product/0/43/1314/rio-pack-rio-ht770pk
The description in the specials page says "Bose like sound and style without the price tag"

    Which to believe?

Rep: What is the quality like / Can you compare them squarely to Bose.
I can make animal-like noises for my kids while singing old macdonald, but I can guarantee I sound nothing like the real farm-yard animals

    • +2

Lol, I dunno if comparing to Bose is really a good comparison.
For me, when somebody tells me "Bose is awesome" I think that the person doesn't know sound at all.

I (and many on the interwebs) find that the sound from Bose is too "manufactured", it lacks the natural aspect therefore makes it sound too fake.

Also your comparison with Sears, Walmart and Bestbuy just proves that this is a bargain.
      1. The stock is in Australia, so Warranty won't be a problem.
      2. 5x $33 = $165 for cube speakers, then around $250-300 for the Sub, which totals: $415 which is still more expensive than buying it at Rio.

Everybody has different taste in sound, only way to know if this is any good for you is to test it out yourself. I got friends who cannot tell the difference between a $10 pair of headphones and a $4000 pair.

You can see here that 3 people thought they were good:
      http://www.amazon.com/Pure-Acoustics-HT770-BL-Speaker/dp/B00…

      • Never said that it wasn't a bargain.

And admittedly I more than likely fit in the category of not being able to appreciate the difference between a $100 headphone and a $400 pair. The best I can do is comment on cheap tinny speakers and those where the bass is muddy or is lacking in clarity

What I would like is a set of speakers that not only are a bargain but good value for money and produces excellent sound quality otherwise i'm just wasting my money which negates a bargain no matter how little you spend.

I was also calling the rep on the bose like quality. 3 reviews from Amazon was not a sufficient sample size for me to trust.

    • Hi StevieRay,

I have sold Bose speakers on and off for over 10 years so i know them very well. I can confidently say that our PURE ACOUSTICS - HT770 pack sounds VERY impressive compared to the equivalent Bose AM6 pack at over $800 cheaper. There is nothing wrong with Bose except you can achive a VERY similar result without paying for the Bose name. Don't take my word for it….google is your friend :-)

If you are local pop on in and see/hear for your self. You won't be disappointed!

    • Sorry. Double post.
