  • seems spam like. You havent even give us any details. just the link three times.

  • genius needs to learn how to write up a description

    Spam.

EDIT lulz at negative votes. Idiots are all too common on this site, who can't see the "edited" tag on the original posting. All it originally was was a constant repetition of the link as the description. No explanation of the deal.

But I'm leaving the negative because it's no-name bands. You can get free MP3's of no-name bands from a metric butt-tonne of places (e.g. mp3.com.au)

  • It actually looks like it's not spam, the image at the top looks like a genuine Windows 7 image, and it keeps linking to the official Windows MySpace

    • It's official, checkout the MySpace:

3Finally, head over to ReverbNation to download even more new music. We've got 1000+ songs for you to choose from. All free.

      Powered by Windows
      and ReverbNation

      • Twitter.com/MSWindows
      • YouTube.com/WindowsVideos
      • Facebook.com/Windows
      • Windows.com

      It links to that page.

  • It appears legit, with some restrictions.

All music appears to be from new bands or bands without any following, which can be a good thing depending on how you look at it.

"You'll see some ads on your music player's screen with the album art, which helps us keep your music free."

So they are advertising while playing the music.

Plus other Terms and Conditions which are similar to music copyright and usage in general.

If anyone has actually downloaded the songs, would love to hear about the experience.

His name is Evil. It must be a spam. ;)

  • I haven't and won't download any of these. Can't be bothered simply.. But as a solution for anyone who does, I gather the advertising will be in the album art.. Most media players will let you delete the album art and you can add your own so that should be easy fixed :) Could be wrong but oh well

  • Free… But you have to add Windows as your friend. ARGH!

    Not spam.

  • Have used ReverbNation before and its a good site. Has some good live sets for some bands as well. A good way to find and listen to local music, in particular, for free.
