Logitech UE MINI BOOM Bluetooth Speaker $59 @ The Good Guys

90

Normally $99.95, the black version of this has been reduced to $59. Available in store, or delivered for $5. I just went to HN and got a price match (as I was picking up the 3x SanDisk cruzer pack).

I think the cheapest prior price was $64 on a less desirable colour.

Limit 3 per customer.

Enjoy

  • Was $50 a while back with logitech shop in black and red with free delivery. Still a pretty good deal for $59 though

    • You sure that was for the "mini" and not the "mobile"?

      • Oops, I stand correctly. It was the mobile, they look damn near the same haha

  • Nvm!

  • I'm confused now… Is there a difference between the mini & mobile??

    http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/logitech-ue-w…

Looks the same, but would they pricematch??

    • Mini > mobile

OW have the mini too but not sure about in-store. I just checked Preston and they didn't have any

      • orly? from the specs listed below seems mobile > mini in terms of specs as a speaker.

the only time mini wins is the nfc support.

    • Mini Boom is 2013 model (latest) and Mobile Boombox is 2012 model.

    • Mini boom is louder and supports the UE app which you can pair 2 of these to double up the sound or do stereo mode.

Mobile boom isn't that loud and doesn't support the UE app.

Yes they are identical in appearance but different internals.

This is a good buy for 60 bucks.

  • That's not this one from the Good Guys that I got for $29 in February? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/134228
(or $14, $13.50, or $2 as claimed by some)

    • I stand corrected. nice deal, not sure how I missed that!

    • Its the much older version. 2011/2012

  • these are fantastic, great design, incredible sound for the size, excellent battery life. I use it more than my logitech boom. I use if for listening to podcasts as I do household duties, makes the time melt away.

  • how are these compared to the boom in terms of bass?

    • bass has somewhat less boom?

    • The boom is definitely better, but in my opinion they're for different purposes.

Boom more for room filling sound vs the mini for background/bedroom type use. I've actually tested the boom, mini and the Bose soundlink mini over the past week and I ended up returning the boom.

FWIW online reviews say that the mini is comparable (and most cases better) to the jawbone jambox mini.

  • if i want a proper stereo is it better spending 120 bucks to get two of these or get a real stereo one which is typically not mobile

  • Oicked one up from GoodGuys in Luytwiche - quite impressed with the sound. This is a good buy for $59
