    it has blue LED light which will blink when its recording. im pretty sure u wont be able to use it as spy cam. any idiot will notice LED light blinking from someones pocket.

    Had the Aldi/coocoon one of these. Peice of crap.

    Fov far too narrow
    Pen didn't work properly
    Pocket clip came loose in 2 weeks
    Entire assembly became loose in the pen body

    Then lastly , dropped it from about 1m and it broke in two at the point where it joins, snapping the pcb.

    Given these things are all generic clones of eachother I wouldn't count on this being any better, but you never know. Appears to have all the same Fov and iq problems according to reviews though

    Spyware savvy people, I have a question:

    The recent Channel Nine segment on organised mail thieves has suckered me in (doesn't help that I've just noticed that my Medicare card expired 2 years and I haven't received it) and am wondering if this would serve my purpose? ie. to notify me when the postman drops something in my postbox so that I can run out Gollum style and exclaim, "My Preciiious".

    Or something similar to a wireless motion sensor? (Don't think that'd fit in my tiny flat/unit postbox :'-( )

      If you put this pen in your post box, most probably you'll loose your precious mails + this pen. I don't think the ones who steal the mails would spare something like this.

      You need an IP camera with motion sensor.

        :-) I had considered wrapping it up in a wrinkled up old Aldi catalogue (leaving only a pinprick where the camera was). Oh well, back to the old running back in and out option.
