Can't find any good deal on PS3? If I miss anything, please post link. Thanks.

  • I can not open checkout page.

  • -1

    OK, panicking a little here.

    I bought 2x Galaxy S5's, 1S4 and a note 10.1
The 20% dicsount showed on all of them as I went thruy the checkout 1 by 1.
Got the emails confirming the discount.

BUT now my purchase history show them all at full price.
    Same in my paypal history.

Can anyone explain wtf is going on ?
Maybe it's the counterintuiitive way its been done in paypal with a 'voucher':
    http://tinypic.com/r/xfaq04/8

    • It shows as full price. The 'voucher' is essentially what Ebay is funding.

    • Counterintuitive indeed, but no need to worry, you're only going to be charged $429.

    • That's great…now I can use the full price invoice claim GST and tax deductions for my business : )

    • +3

      calm down

  • +1

Any way postage can be combined when buying multiple items (like on The Good Guys) as I'm paying postage separately for both orders.

    • +1

Instead of pressing 'Buy it Now' use "Add to cart" instead

      • Nice one bruv!

        Thanks

        • +2

So you've negged this deal but still benefiting from it ?

      • -1

wish I'd twigged on that; would have saved another $10…but was more interested in making sure I got everything bought before stock ran out. Plus for $5 didn't want to risk breaking their definition of "single transaction"

        • If you're buying multiple items that go over $1000 you will get better discounts on doing separate purchases, since the max discount is $200 (20% of 1,000). Unless shipping is ridiculously high.

Apple iPad mini $200 using this 20% off code BUT only via a group deal URL.

I posted this as a new deal (my first deal post) as its a deal only offered through a group buy not via the Kogan ebay store alone when searching for iPad minis.

Hope I did the right thing! (not sure)

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/150885

    • Was looking for a good bargain and couldnt find anything to buy. Found this and got it, $200 for an ipad mini is pretty good. Thanks!

  • +1

Have been keeping an eye on LG 10kg front load washer at Appliances Online, but it went out of stock on Saturday, just before the ebay sale.

I'm expecting stock to miraculously appear again after the sale.

  • Got DC37 from good guys $323

    Then got a Dell Desktop 3000 (i5, 8gb ram, 1tb HDD with windows 7 pro) for $560

Normally wont buy Dell, but at that price, not too bad for office

  • +1

It looks as though our lovely friends at Dick Smith are blocking payments.

I am trying to purchase two products totally $900 odd after discount and when I sign into PayPal I get this error:

Return to merchant and try a different payment method

Unfortunately, we're unable to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please return to the merchant's website and try using a different payment method (if available).

However, I tried removing these items and adding something from COTD and it went through to paypal confirm payment screen without issue…

    • Try calling PayPal now, I had this experience with the 20% off all ebay deal last time and it seemed that PayPal will block "suspicious" activity on your credit card if you bought some expansive things. They can reset the account for you on the phone.

    • Same, trying to buy from Dick Smith, won't go through. I thought it was something to do with my Amex card I just added to PayPal.

  • Got a Galaxy Note 3 N9005 4G LTE - 547$ from Kogan
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-3-N9005-4G-LT…

  • Anyone think the Nikon D3300 DSLR with 18-55mm Lens is worth buying at $484.8 (down from $605) from Kogan?

    • So so.

  • Just purchased a Dyson Dc25 for $323 plus delivery through the good guys! Good stuff!

  • Crap, mods can you remove my negative vote? Clicked on it accidentally!

    • +3

Do it yourself. Just click on VOTES at the top of the deal page. Only thing is once you revoke the negative you can't vote again.

      • Great, thanks!

  • Entered code and received the discount confirmation in ebay but after placing the order was charged full price. Wtf?!? Anyone else have this problem? Is ebay gonna reimburse me somehow later?

    • Is your ebay email the same as the PayPal account email? Is your PayPal account opened in Australia?

    • Check under ”details" for the payment in PayPal, it should show the correct price.

      • Yes, once in Details go down to funding source. There it shows 20% of the payment from eBay.

    • +1

Have a closer look at the PayPal transaction - look down the bottom at funding source. You will probably find part payment from "20% off Big Brands on eBay | 29-30 June 2014 #CBIGTREAT" and part payment from your balance/credit card/bank account

      • :…(

I have 2 emails for eBay and paypal but they are all linked.

        Bought a laptop for $900

After payment, got email from both eBay and paypal to confirm the cost is $720

But why does it show $900 in my actual paypal account???

Paypal phone contact is only opened mon-fri????

        • cz the offer from ebay not from the seller.
if you check your bank account or your credit cart statment you will see it $720

        • -1

          Thanks

I managed to call paypal. They confirmed $720

I also logged into paypal web version and details also shows $720 :)

          All is well

(It was scary to see -$900 when I logged into paypal mobile version…. It still shows that actually)

    • +1

Looks like a good deal for $30. Hows the SQ?

      • It doesn't sound promising from the quick Google search I just did. Tinny sound and very underwhelming bass was the verdict across the pages. But that was for you paying $79 dollars for it. For $30 maybe it changes the value proposition of it.

What I like is that you can use it like a conference call speaker/mic.

  • +1

Didnt save much as Kogan jacked up the price but bought a 3D printer with extra filament for $701. The printer itself is for $699 on Kogan website.
    Heres the link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kogan-da-Vinci-1-0-3D-Printer-/35…

  • Got ipad air 32GB silver from Kogan for $527 after discount including shipping. They jacked it up from $579 in their store to $625 on ebay. Still cheaper than rrp of $698 at HN. I know its grey import.

    • Estimated delivery dates for the ipads from Kogan are all towards the end of July. Just something to be aware of in case you dont want to wait.

  • +8

My kettle exploded last night - big flash and bang and switch trip in my meter box - so at least I could get a replacement for 20% off at Good Guys. Plus it's red, so it should boil faster… ;)

  • Got 4x WeMo Light Switch from Dick Smith. Needed 5 though :( I guess I'll buy the last one from somewhere else.

    • +5

just sending a special middle finger to Dick Smith for jacking up the price of the Galaxy S5 for the occasion, from $848 to $866.

It cost them 2 sales, since it was cheaper for me to buy from GoodGuys, even paying $5 shipping each

      • Even with the jacking up going around there are some bargains still to be had though.

        • Preecisely.

        • $249 for a Samsung 10" tablet seems like one of their bargains. The pre-discount eBay price is actually cheaper than their website price.

      • same here, was about to buy from dse, since they jacked up the price, i got mine from tgg, lost another sale here dse

    • It's not the best price for the WEMO SWITCH … I have 3 already but could do with more. The price is worse than last week … they put the prices up a bit (last week you paid only 30 something … so not bad … this time around it is 48$) … not a deal fro me considering the new model (insight switch) is around the corner.

  • Called PayPal, they said the code can only be used once. I thought it was Max 5 seperate transactions.

Already purchased a TV with a ~$200 discount.

    • i purchased two items in separate transactions… paypal is showing the discount and so does my cc

      • Maybe the maximum discount is $200 accross all transactions.

        • That's what the deal suggested iirc.

        • +2

          T&C
