I've been looking at cheap ways to get to Singapore, on a mainstream carrier. Qantas seem to have an unannounced sale on Business Class flights from Perth. $999 return.
I tried search multiple dates and the range of 3-22 July seems to be where it's at.
There are also economy fares at $250 each way ($500 return) for the same date range.
Any such deal for Sydney :P
if i knew that a few days before. travelling on a budget for close to $700. worth paying extra…damnnn :( :(
Perth to Singapore is only a short flight isn't it? Like 4 hours? hardly seems worth paying for Business class for such a short flight.
At regular BC prices you'd be correct. But when it's only $200-or-so more than a red-e-deal economy, definitely worth it.
surely the extra baggage is worth the $200 already. add the luxury of business class and i think we have a winner.
Flights on the A330 only so not full lie-flat seats? Still great price for points, added extras alone I guess.

probably be too busy trying to get drunk onboard so i dont have to listen to kids screaming and shouting in cattle class to bother with lie flat bed
20 cents per mile is a lot of money even for business class. Not sure Id call this a deal!

That's because those dates are the only ones that Qantas flies now!
No more QF77/78 except "seasonal" and as far as I know they have not announced dates for the next school holidays yet.
