    since they realised shipping a $2 pair of socks from the UK to AUS for free wasn't a sound business proposition?

      Did not know that. It's been awhile since I ordered from Asos. And I think it'll be even longer now that they charge for shipping.

  My son just bought a ring ? A cheapy for $11, plus $5 for delivery. It arrived yesterday and is faulty, some jewels in it have fallen out or are missing. It seems it will cost nearly $8 to send to Sydney for a refund. Not great at all.

    if you talk to them on twitter they will sort you out.
    i have had return postage credited to me a few times for their f-ups.
