This special rate only applies for 12 statement cycles. After this period, any unpaid balances and new purchases will attract our standard lowest rate currently 13.99%

  Sounds like a great offer if you are about to make a big purchase, like dropping $6,000 on a 75" TV or something..

  That said, in the case of a TV, it might be more worthwhile to buy it on a credit card with 6-24 month price protection (28degrees, Coles), pay some interest, but gamble on getting MORE money back via price protection if the TV drops in price from same retailer..

  A couple of grand on an interest free loan for a year… that could be quite useful.

  Perhaps free interest BUT its not FREE with a $59 annual card fee
