10 Years ago it was largely Japanese tourists. Welcome to international tourism, without it many of our cities wouldn't exist.

    • Last time I visited Surfers I was surrounded by meter maids.

      Wasn't complaining AT ALL!!!

Was just saying it would be a damn sight cheaper than flying overseas to China itself :)

The more Chinese Yuan we get flowing through the place the better in my opinion!

      • Now you're trying to backtrack. Who in their right mind would want to go somewhere just for the sole purpose to be surrounded by people of a single nationality. What you said was offensive, plain and simple.

        • No, I'm not. I just thought it'd be a funny observation. As if comedians actually do half the shit they joke about.

If your going to China for a holiday its a crime not to do Beijing. Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer palace Temple of Heaven etc.

Sure Shanghai is a cleaner and more modern town but Beijing is where the best history is..

  • Seems like a great price - but having been in Shanghai in the summer it's a bit too warm for me, and a bit short notice to organise leave from work, Rep - Any chance of a deal like this available mid september or later? I'd definitely be booking if so.

I've heard of super cheap tours that are subsidized because you're ushered to places to buy stuff and the operators get really angry if you don't buy anything. That was for Hong Kong but at this price its what I suspect will happen.

This is where I'm gonna take my friends.. IF I HAVE ANY!!

i think all registered tour guides in china are required to take tourists to at least 1 government factory/shop/scam per day. whether its a package deal like this or a local china tour agency day tour.

unless its changed since 2013 but I doubt it has. Spent ~3hours/day stuck at the government shops. They do run demonstrations of how things are made so interesting the first time.

But if deal includes flights then its still really cheap.

$750 is really good when fight is included even 3 hours /day will be wasted.

  • Hello All,

The holiday package includes flights, 5 star accommodation, transfers, and bullet train.

We do offer tours as optional extras. While they are delightful tours, they are OPTIONAL and if you are worried about being ushered around and forced to buy things please feel free to take advantage of the package and choose your own tours.

We will definitely have more holiday packages come up around September and after - watch this space!

    • Hi Rep,
Flights does not come with 20KG allowance, does it ? and extra charges for breakfast ? cheers
P.S where can I fill the discount, code, ta

  • That's correct, baggage and breakfast are additional.

Once you select 'Book Now' at the bottom of the page it will take you through to a form to complete your personal details and then you will go to the final payment page where it will ask for the promotional code and expiry for the discount to be applied.

Please let me know if you have any issues.

    • Thanks for your quick response, Rep, and pretty much interested but August 1st week is pretty tight for my wife and me, and not sure we can apply for holiday leave. If I missed out this one, hope there will be more in September time, greatly appreciated.
