  • Is there an easy way I can connect this to my TV wirelessly? Is there such thing as a stereo plug to Bluetooth adapter?

    • yes, i've bought one of these off ebay. the reason i haven't linked you to the item is that it drops out exactly every 5 minutes! i'm waiting for a slightly different product to arrive and will see if that drops out regularly as well. it pairs fine with these philips headphones and my plantronic backbeat go, just that regular drop out and having to turn off/on the headphones to re-pair is a major product fault for me

    • Blackberry used to make one, called a Bluetooth Audio Gateway or something like that, being Blackberry it's probably decent quality but not sure if it's still around.

      • there are a few being sold on ebay. from reading the description it looks as though it's a bluetooth receiver and not a transmitter. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong about that because i'd really like a decent quality bluetooth transmitter that plugs into a 3.5mm audio jack and doesn't drop out

        • yea please update us. i will be very much interested. thanks.

        • @andri77: sorry guys you are right the BB device is a receiver, I must have misread the question

  • Cheap price, good bargain. But SHB7000 not well reviewed:

While the review may have a point, Ive moved on to value collective opinions from customers rather than some blogger reviews these days.

  • Seems to be a good deal. It says 2 pack there, does it mean it comes with 2 pairs of headphones or just 1 pair? Thanks.

    • -2

True that. A quick look at other 'pairs' of headphones and they don't say '2 pack'. Perhaps it is 2?

      • Are you guys serious? Please tell me you're joking. Please.

    • My understanding is 2 pairs.

Though i think even if its just 1 pair it may still be cheapest price in Australia.

      • Thanks Op for the great deal

Be warned, they are really bad.

I purchased a pair of these from cotd over 6 months ago (same price). It feels like you have a hard cardboard coffee cup on each ear. The ear cushions are not comfortable at all.

Trying to use with my computer was terrible. Tried using with teamspeak but it would constantly drop out and peoples voices were very very low quality.

Bizarrely, music sounded ok with them using bluetooth from my android phone - but could not use for extended periods of time due to how hard they felt on the ears. Occasional dropouts, but not as bad as when using with my PC.

You are getting less than you pay for with these.

    • maybe that's the reason they're in COTD ;) manufacturer can't sell them

Agree very uncomfortable with weak sound quality and pretty much no bass

  • i bought the black version a few months back. i found the sound okay, though because of bluetooth problems at my end, i mainly use them as wired headphones. i was waiting to buy another headset at the same $39.98 price but COTD started selling them as 2 packs. sure as hell not going to pay nearly $80 just to get 2 more pairs when i only wanted one more. but the price is right now :)

It is indeed a pack of 2 pairs. This is a really good deal for not-picky users like me since i found the sound is ok. Not really comfy but i can live with it. Now i need to find multi/dual stream bluetooth transmitter. any suggestion? Thanks.
