don't need the 4G though - there's WIFI everywhere I go.Never underestimate the utility of the 4G option. You don't have to use it, but it is extremely useful if you need a Portable 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, these standalone units can go for around $100 or more by themselves. The 4G iPad can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot for other devices, and battery life is excellent.

agreed with 1st post, after using an Ipad Air, any other ipad i pick up is pretty heavy, but for ppl who dont give a toss its a good price, and the post about there is wifi everywhere and not caring about 4g, good luck waiting around for it to connect properly and albiet being at shit speeds, even tethering to your phone is hit and miss and again the shit speeds..
