The HIF insurance fund is offering 12% discount on health cover for members of the Perth Wildcats.
I received over $300 discount on my family's HIF membership and Bronze Wildcats memberships start at $349.

Wildcats membership needs to be in the name of the primary HIF member's name, although Wildcats memberships are fully transferable to can be used by someone other than the primary HIF member.

If you join up to take advantage of this, please consider listing me as the referring member: Wildcats Member # 20959.

The quickest way to join would be:
1. Call Wildcats on 08 6272 0777 and ask to speak to Memberships. They will take your details, payment method and give you your membership number straight away. Please give my Wildcats member number 20969 as the referring member.
2. If you are already a HIF member, complete the Association Membership Direct Debit Discount Request (http://www.hif.com.au/sites/hifcomau/assets/public/File/Form…) and submit a signed copy to [email protected] If you have pre-paid annual or 6 monthly, you can ask to have your pro-rata discount redunded or you membership extended.

If you are not a HIF member, then you'll need to join. Please consider quoting my HIF member number 32569 as how you heard about HIF if you are joining.
If you are already a Wildcats member, definately work a look at HIF to take advantage of this discount. I've been with them for years and have had no complaints (but luckily, no major claims either).

    I emailed HIF to confirm that the discount would be immediate. They called back and then emailed me a form. I,ll try upload.

    Hi everyone. I'm Digital Manager at HIF and want to apologise if the corporate site has been unavailable over the past couple of days, we had a couple of technical glitches but I can confirm all is fixed now.

    If you're already a registered Perth Wildcats member, you can absolutely save 12% annually on HIF health cover. The link is http://corporate.hif.com.au (only available on desktop at this stage, not mobile - sorry! If you're on a mobile, use this one: http://corporate.hif.com.au?fullwebsite=1).

    You will need to register your name and email address along with access code "PWCM" and then you can enter the Perth Wildcats discount portal to get a quote and join online. Please note that this discount is available to Perth Wildcats members only and your membership number will be required after joining for audit purposes.

    If you're not a Perth Wildcats member though, you may still be able to access a discount of between 8%-12% if your company has a corporate arrangement with HIF. We have hundreds of corporate clients and associations passing on discounts to their employees/members, so check with your employer/assocation to find out if they have signed up for corporate benefits.

    I am with HIF and am happy with them. You can only apply the membership discount to the Gold Starter and up. So if you are chasing the tax relief, I found the Gold Vital level was still the cheapest option without the Wildcats discount. Unless this has changed since earlier this year.

          If your employer or another association you're registered with (e.g. Surfing WA)has a corporate partnership with HIF, you can always migrate to a different discounted plan? Alternatively, you can pay for your standard HIF policy on an annual basis and receive a 4% discount every year which is still a nice little saving in the long term.
