hey all, spouses family live in KL, Im there quite a bit. Can I say after quite a bit of experience and many, many years that in terms of cost/location/etc, personal fave place is the Renaissance, about $90 per night, inc taxes. 5 star accom (though most of us wouldnt give it a 5 star rating, not by Australian standards), few mins walk from Petronas towers, can get plenty of rooms with absolute insane perfect view of towers. In terms of booking it, cant ever do any better than booking.com

As I only checked through this website, you might be able to get a better deal by doing some research. I remember when my relatives went to KL in the beginning of this year, they got a room for RM200+. I think they called up to make the reservation and got themselves a better rate.
