    Just received mine today (Gf got it at her workplace a few days back). Just wondering how to test for the hard drive being ok, sectors etc not corrupt?

    Is all you need a check of the "SMART" data of the hdd? Or given it's a new hdd do you need to use a third party software that can test read/write to the hdd - i got recommended crystal disk, speccy and HD TUNe?

    HOw has everyone else tested their newly received transcends?
