Even cheaper if you don't take a bag - SYD-SIN return for $262 (plus any credit card fees).

    • Does a bag mean the small carry bag?

      • +2

You can take a small cabin bag for free with the Fly fare. The FlyBag fare includes checked luggage.

      • +3

Bag is check in luggage. No bag is carry on only.

I would rather take Malaysia airlines over flyscoot

        • +1

yeah you only need one way ticket

      • +3

Could have worded it better, indeed.

Can I give them a call or online only?

    • +2

      Call them and ask.

  • You mention the Aircraft being the 787-9 Dreamliner from Mid-november, do you know which route it is being utilized on for the inaugural? Scoot doesn't seem to have released that information at this point in time?

    • Genuinely curious how the 787-9 will be better than the current 777 on Scoot.

      • Considering Scoot's 777-200s are 17yrs old that is the first benefit.
But i guess its a quieter aircraft has mood lighting, electronic window shades, hopefully more comfortable. I wish they would include IFE in there seats like Jetstar has with there 787.

But the benefits would be more for Scoot with lower operating cost's which hopefully will equal cheaper airfares, Less maintenance needed because the aircraft are newer etc

Ill find out whats so great about the 787 when i fly with Royal Brunei next month :)

    • They have not listed a specific route city, but have stated they will launch the 787-9 on Australian routes first following delivery. My guess would be Sydney as the inaugural flight as it was there launch route.

Although this article online says "Scoot says the first destinations for its Boeing 787-9s, which is expected to make its inaugural flight in Late November Early December, will "include Australia, Japan and Taiwan" so i guess it is anyone's guess

  • I'll bet there's a blackout for the Singapore F1…

    • +1

That's a night race, so that will make it interesting! Hehehe.

      • -1

        Terrible pun or complete misunderstanding?

    • i checked earlier.. the F1 weekend isn't blacked out!

  • nvm

  • thinking of going to YG Family concert in sept.

  • Is the sales finished already? I m searching right now but there's no 330$ for Singapore Sydney return..

    • It's only available ex-Australia. So SYD-SIN-SYD is cheap but SIN-SYD-SIN isn't.

Thanks so much for the link, op! Can't find this advertised on Scoot's normal site…and logging in on my phone vs my computer actually gets different prices for each leg ($200 cheaper on my mobile). I found return flights for $280 in total ($262 for flights and taxes, plus $18 credit card fee). Fantastic deal!

  • sales finished? can't seem to find any flights for syd-sin-syd near $330 return. almost all are 259 each way

    • Sale ended this morning at 2am
