For tips, see Wiki A guide to using Telstra Prepaid Starter Packs (still under construction)

  • The Caltex 1/2 price deals are still available, too.

  • Bought few Starter kits last week for $12.5 each Delivered from Dicksmith

Before anyone comes along and says they got 'em for $5 each delivered from Dick Smith, the deal was they were $15 each. Buy a minimum of $50 (say 4×$15 = $60) and get a $10 discount, hence the $12.50 effective price.

And yes, some lucky so & sos early code users didn't have to buy $50 worth.

      • I bought 1x$5 , 4x$12.5

  • Don't forget Coles has $9 Vodafone $30 Starter Packs & $9 3GB data SIM + unlocked USB modem as an alternative. Some stores have restocked. until Tuesday 5/8/14 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/154539

  • How many packs can I actually activate? ( to pay on Google Play )

    • It's unlimited, though really the terms say 5? So it's up to you if you wanna look sus etc

    • I have 10 registered, waiting for most of them to eventually expire as I have used all the credit.
