You really should list the deals in description.

    • Trudat. Also nexus 7 2013 32gb for 159 is a steal, maybe include in title? I saw that deal and came on here to post, but saw this post and didn't in case deemed a dup?

        its a refurb so meh

        • +1

Refurbs can be good as new. 12 month ASUS warranty. Better than buying used off ebay etc. Or you can pay double for a brand new one.

  • Also put some stand out deals plus price on title.

  • If I'll buy nexus 7 will wireless shop gonna honor that warranty? OR Asus? Thanx

      Hi kendroid23,

The warranty for the Nexus 7 and all our products come with manufacturers warranty. So Asus will help with any warranty claims you may have.

      Hope this helps!

      • Hi Rep, if i order the Nexus 7 today, how long would it take to be delivered?

Wonder what the ACCC would think of this comment…

"The retailer who sold you the product or service cannot refuse to help you by sending you to the manufacturer or importer"

        http://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees/…

        • I'm sorry I don't think I understand your comment? We are always happy to help our customers!

If required we can send the unit for repair or be assessed for replacement and this is also done through the manufacturer.

  • If I'll buy the refurbished nexus 7 will the wireless 1 will do the warranty?

    • Asus. Click the link and read the description yo!

      • We also provide a 7 day DOA (Dead on Arrival) policy, so any units that are faulty within the first week of purchase we will provide a replacement or refund to our customers.

After this week, the warranty will have be done through the manufacturer, Asus.

          and again…

          @jimmej:

Dealing with Asus is excellent. They will pay all postage costs.

        • +1

          @PissLUR:

I have done this myself - wouldn't call it excellent but yes they paid postage (they have to). Just took 2 months to fix it.

My point is it is illegal to point the consumer to the manufacturer. It is the the consumers choice to if they want to return it to the retailer or the manufacturer. If you return to retailer you are entitled to reasonable costs (ie. it should be free)

        • @jimmej: It's not actually illegal to point the consumer to the manufacturer. As you say it is the the consumers choice if they want to deal with the retailer or the manufacturer. There are actually two warranties in play here; the manufacturers warranty and the statutory warranty. I read it as the retailer is referring to the manufacturer warranty. If you insist, you can get the retailer to deal with the manufacturer for you, or you can deal with the manufacturer direct. I doubt the retailer would be able to get the return done any quicker than you dealing with the manufacturer direct — no double handling and just as much effort required. I would be taking advantage of a manufacturer warranty first before relying on the statutory warranty.

        • @endotherm:

Correct - My statement of pointing was not clear. What I meant was the retailer cannot refuse to deal with the warranty and just pass the buck to the manufacturer.

          @jimmej:

We are always willing to help our customers and have never stated that we refuse to deal with warranty issues?

I was simply trying to advise that I am happy to do on the spot DOA swaps for items proven faulty. If the item requires attention after the first 7 days, we can send the unit back for assessment by manufacturer for repair, replacement or refund pending approval.

We would not simply send the customer away and refuse to help them.

          @acek47:

Thankyou for clarifying store rep. I found your previous comments misleading and I am glad you cleared it up.

  • nexus is only on 4.3

wonder if it will update to 4.4
got chromecast and needs 4.4 for screen mirroring :(

  • Umm no. Nexus is on 4.4.4.

    • I mean the picture and the words say that the nexus is on 4.3

i'm assuming that's wrong or it will get updated once you turn it on

      • If the Nexus 7 has 4.3 when you switch it on, it will certainly get the latest version when your connected it to the internet.

        • Hi guys,

The Nexus 7 is updateable to 4.4

          Cheers!

  • Can't pay using PayPal.. getting bad gateway error

    • Hi wcm8382,

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!

  • To wait for nexus 8 or not??

Refurbed = once a dud always a dud

    • Not sure why you think all refurbs are lame - have you purchased Apple or Asus refurbs before? I've bought multiple manufacturer refurbished items from both these brands and each time the item has been as brand new - nothing to indicate a used product. In fact the only difference was it was in plain packaging (which gets binned anyway). Both give 12 months manufacturer warranty, so when the prices are so much cheaper why not opt for a refurb? My thinking is whatever was wrong with them has been fixed anyway..

  • Bought 1 Nexus 7 2013. Thanks

      • Hi Guys,

Our deal is a dual pack :)

The MSY price is for one camera, ours is for two.

        Cheers!

        • Discount on shipping? 5 minutes to go :)

      • Thanks. I'll get MSY. Its a toy anyways. So, one is good enough. Lets see how it goes.

        • I missed out on this one. Wish I bought it. Managed to get the Belkin Wemo and would have loved to get this one too.

  • Received the Nexus7 delivered today only to find the seal broken in the box. Very disappointed by this. Called wireless1 and they claim they might have opened to check it and can replace it if I take to their store but will not cover postage costs. I need to drive 2 hours back and forth just to get this replaced. Is this fair?

If its refurbished from Asus, whats wireless1 doing sending an item with broken seal? How do I trust the replacement I get from them, they might as well put a seal on the box and resell it?

    • agreed , I might call asus / other stores that sell refurbished nexus 7 next monday and ask for the characteristic of a fake sealed / sticker .

      • Hi guys,

Just to clarify we do not use fake seals or stickers. The majority of our units have seals on the exterior packaging but there usually aren't any seals inside the box. I can post photos if required.

        Cheers!

        • Rep, I received mine with the seal broken for exterior packaging and that is my issue.

The box sticker says it should be sealed but its broken.

  • Got my iPad mini yesterday and when I opened the box found that ipad has a small dent on back side.called wireless and they told me to call Apple directly.
Spent 45 min on call with Apple and they said they will check with wireless.
This is pathetic don't know what's happening.
I thought wireless should have agreed to replace the ipad mini

    • They should just replace it as the rep stated above.

      • Which has been done :)

  • Got mine today (Perth, WA)

box was sealed. Upgraded to 4.4.4, Checked for dead pixel, Tested the camera and buttons.

    All's Good. Happy.

The only problem I will be having is that I'll be getting an iPad Mini from Rabo :hammer:

  • Got Mine Yesterday
box was sealed , but the device is faulty :(
the touch sensitivity is off , it took me 20 minutes just to type my wifi password.
