    needs Blu-ray

  • So the DVD's are becoming so worthless that they're starting to give them away.

Its Attenborough. Any Attenborough is good Attenborough

Attenborough is much better with blu-ray. Especially if you have a large screen TV.

So much Attenborough, so little time. Sticking with Blu Ray's I'm afraid.

    • Same so little time. I still have Planet Earth SE, Frozen Planet, Human Planet and Life blu-ray sets to watch yet. I think i have enough nature Attenborough to watch for the time being.

    what is DVD?

  • I am a bit of documentary junky and so will likely have most/all of the ones being offered but do I find David Attenborough very interesting and relaxing to watch. And, a great way to wind down. Really soothing and quite therapeutic. Ahh, zzz…

And, whilst he is still pumping out shows, he is getting old so I worry a little about when he will stop (I think I might be a bit addicted :-) Might be time to start paying attention to the terrible power of Internet marketing to advertise related/alternative products I might also like unless you can suggest a good alternative?

No Attenborough post is complete without this:

    • what is he doing with his left hand?

How dare you! Just the mere suggestion is borderline sacrilegious! Attenborough is god of the planets and animals. You must apologise, otherwise chances are that a lion will eat you for dinner.

        • Yay, though he doesn't shy away from showing a lot of mating, just saying.

        • Maybe he's impersonating his brother, Dick

        • Just so there's no confusion. David Attenborough is not dead. Sadly Richard Attenborough died today. He's the brother of David Attenborough who's the commentator of many nature documentaries.

  • OP: Time to update title!
Offer also in other News Ltd papers around Oz, eg Sunday Mail in Brissie.

    • Reported this to MODs as OP has not change title. Title changed. Thanks moocher ;-)

Nice set to collect for the kiddies - however working out the cost: 14 newspapers ($29) + 13 DVDs ($32.50) - total $61.50. Not too bad if you're already buying the papers…
You will find that each is an excerpt from one of his documentaries. http://advertiser.attenboroughessentials.com.au/

    • Obviously check out the digital + delivery subscriptions. In Queensland 7 days is $5/wk.

  • I hope these DVDs are at least 16:9.
