2-for-1 Entry @ Taronga Zoo / Taronga Western Plains Zoo / Melbourne Zoo in September [ANZ Cardholders]

360

Similar to last year's deal.

ANZ cardholders* are invited to enjoy a ‘2 for 1’ ticket offer at Taronga Zoos and Melbourne Zoo as part of ANZ Zoo Month in September 2014.

Simply present your ANZ card* and ask to receive the ‘2 for 1’ ticket offer before purchasing your tickets.

Taronga Zoos:

You don't need to fill out the form on their site unless you want "more special offers".

You can also get 10% off at their retail shops (excluding food and drinks). Meh

Entry for kids under 4 is free.

Melbourne Zoo:

This is the URL but it doesn't seem to work yet. Now working.

They also have a fairly good offer of Get 1 month free on 12 month zoo memberships. Keep in mind, any kids under 16 get free entry on weekends and public holidays.

Photo of the flyer I got this with my ANZ bill.

wait till you try to pay for parking on a weekday in sydney CBD…. the zoo entry fee would be an absolute bargain in comparison :)

Don't forget, if you're planning on going to any of the zoos below more than twice p/year, the best value is Perth Zoo Friends mambership

Aduts $80 ea (for two or more people at the same address)
    kids: $49 ea

    or singular:

  • catch is you need to bank with ANZ lol

    • +1

I think most OzBargainers would now bank with one or more of the BIG 4 OzBargain approved banks.

      -ANZ
      -Citibank
      -ING Direct
      -ME Bank

I would say that most Ozbargainers have banked with these banks, but have already cancelled their accounts after receiving whatever bonus it was they signed up for.

        • You only need to show your card. You should be able to use another card to pay for it

  • Does anyone know whether this is available for online purchases?

    • No, not valid for online purchases.

  • So do the tickets have to be used at the same time? Say I bought two $23.60 concession Melbourne zoo tickets?

    so 11.75 each visit?

I hate two for one deals they discriminate against people who like going places alone lol

    • You could go there, look for anyone, buy their ticket and get them to give you the money :)

  • If you fill out the form, it gives you this link for more special offers…

    http://taronga.org.au/sites/default/files/downloads/A4_ANZ_Z…

  • Do you think you can keep the receipt of this 2-4-1 offer and join the zoo membership and get the full ticket amount deducted from the membership? Maybe one says complementary, the other says full price?

  • Where is the melbourne 2 for 1 offer? The link still doesn't work and I can't see anything on the web about it?

    • It's in this flyer. I suspect the link will be active on or close to Sept 1.

    Still too expensive

  • Has anyone tried this yet at Melbourne Zoo? If you are more than 2 people and only 1 has ANZ card, can you buy multiple tickets on that one card and get same amount of complimentary tickets ???

Also, does anyone know, if tickets in advance can be bought at Melbourne zoo?

    Many Thanks!
