      • +1

Voucher still works if you don't mind waiting

        • +1

yup, ordered. paid $65.69 and will wait one month. thanx. always wanted a white one! :)

        • @sachz: I got one as well :) good timing for destiny. And also wouldn't pay 54$ for a black controller after dicksmith having it around 50$ delivered - no damage :p bit of rip off

        • its a real pity you can only use this voucher ONCE per account, guys..

(it saved me from doing followup IMPULSE purchases… thnx OGS).

        • Expiring in 5 minutes assuming the deal is related to uk time :x

        • +1

@CrazyMexican: i already had a 2nd IMPULSE purchase ready to be paid before the savoiour message that i shouldnt be impulsing (cant use it twice) :-)

  • Perfect combination

Apparently it works well with the Xperia range of smartphones.

If the game supports it of course. They work with pc too, although the xbox/xbox one controllers are more standard for the pc industry so unless you enjoy setting it up with every game, might be better to get one of them.

      • +1

There's no setting up for every game. There's an emulator that makes the PS3/4 controller act exactly like a 360 controller.

  • Awesome deal!! Couldn't resist.

  • +1

Why would they have a large amount of controls with damaged boxes?

    • I thought the same thing and was thinking water damage or at least moisture damage such as mould or something. Maybe smoke damage from a fire in same building, or may have been in a transport accident and got tossed around.

  • I just purchased from the link above, added the WAKA code and got another 10% off, but had to pay shipping. Total cost $51.48.

    Good work OP.

All of these PS4 deals are going to send me broke :P

    Just bought:

    • Destiny, Diablo III package, TLoU through the $15 off each game with DSE.
    • PS4 for $399 through the DSE ebay deal
    • Extra controller for $54

I think I'm set for a while lol.

People use these for PlayStations? Thought we were all HTPC/Steam people ;)

      • +4

Nah. Most people like consoles, they simply work well.

        • +7

i luv consoles cause (1) I hate fixing DLL incompatiblity problems, (2) I hate paying $800 for upgrade my video card every 2 years, and (3) I LUV laying down on my lounge to play instead of sitting up on a desk with keyboard… :-)

          This is why consoles exist.

      • +1

at least consoles you can play the games straight out of the box. My first game i got for my new pc demanded i do a 5gb update before i could play. With a limited mobile broadband plan thats impossible. What kind of crap is that? First and last time i ever bought games for the computer….

        • +1

… you think your console doesn't need to download updates for your software and games?

        • does it? I dont have a PS4, but ive never came across a console game that held my ability to play it at ransom until an internet connection was made.

        • +1

If you're the type of person who feels 5GB download is big and uses mobile "broadband" as their only source of internet, yes consoles probably do suit your type better.

        • thanks, yes i guess that im the type of person that is sick of everything relying on the internet to work.

        • @itsdanthaman:
Yeah, personally I'm against everything relying on electricity to work. What ever happened to good old fire.

        • @PainToad: bring back the ball on a rope pls

        • @itsdanthaman: it does but often it downloads in the background and you can usually still play while it downloads

        • Got GTA IV for PS3 awhile back and had to download an update before I could play, the update took 8hrs to download and by then it was too late to even play it that day. You can't even expect to play a day one launch title without a day one patch on console these days, some of them can be 1GB and take a long time to download over the throttled PSN/XBL connections.

        • +1

i had no problems playing GTA IV without an internet connection.

        • @itsdanthaman: obviously if you have no Internet connection it cannot download the updates, however without the Internet and the updates you are not able to play online. You will be offline on PSN also.

That didn't last long did it…ah wells no need for one, eBay toy sale deal had better options

Good scam having a UK time sale on a site focused on Australians. I guess they minimized their losses by purposely running it 9pm-9am on a Sunday night when they knew the majority of people wouldn't see it. Leaves me feeling bitter about the whole thing though. Saw it when I got up and was going to order some stuff at work.

  • Got Halo master collection for 66.9 - 10%

    pretty good to me :)

    • +1

Could of got it slightly cheaper at DS and no postage delay :P

      • eh didnt see it on there, thats ok in no rush to replay games ive already got :D

  • Got it in the mail yesterday…

    Box wasn't even damaged! Wtf?

    Not complaining though :)
