Lavazza Modo Mio Simpla Cofee Machine $24 (RRP $129) After $30 CB+ Free Shipping @TGG eBay

730

Thanks unity1 for the discussion. Although you order through TGG ebay store, the Receipt/Tax Invoice is identical to the one you would be issued if you purchased the in store. I have notched that there is no mention of eBay on the Receipt/Tax Invoice, so you would have no problems to claim this cash back offer.

        • Got the cashback approved and received the refund from TGG. Bought another machine a few days ago, so they pretty much paid me $6 to take the second one off their hands. Score!

        • @Dr PhilGood: that's just bad sport

  • Awesome :) I can't complain received mine with 3 x 16 capsules boxes & the 12 piece selection one too :) fingers crossed for cash back!

    • that's pretty damn good! That's more than the machine. Did you get yours posted via eBay?

      • Yep sure did :) on the invoice they added the three boxes at $0 each, maybe they were clearing them out not sure…they are the purple ones haven't tried them yet so hopefully they are ok! :)

  • anyone know where the cheapest place to buy capsules is now ?

    • I found Coles are cheapest. Normal price around $11 for a box of 16 capsules. Occasionally they do have sales for $8/box.

  • Anyone claiming the cashback?
Filled the form abd submitted about a week ago
But still not receiving any confirmation from them

    Tried twice
    Still not hearing anything

Just got a confirmation from Lavaza that my cashback has been approved. Will be on nominated bank account in 28 days.

  • Just got my approval email.

Still trying out all the different capsules :)

Seems like the Lavazza capsules are the most expensive type as compared to Nespresso and Nescafe pods. Particularly since Nespresso and Nescafe allow third parties to produce compatible pods.

  • Where to buy cheap pods? At the supermarket when on sale?

In April 2014 they were $8 per 16pk on sale at Coles.
Woolworths online sell LavAzza Pods for $7.51 per 10pk but I don't know if they're compatible with the Amodo Mio.

no looks like that one's for caffitaly

  • How are those who've bought the Simpla finding it in terms of quality and usage? Any problems like the ones discussed on http://www.productreview.com.au/p/saeco-lavazza-a-modo-mio.h…

What about having to judge the right amount of water yourself instead of having a defined espresso (40ml) button?

Any people who have used both Lavazza & Nespresso care to comment on their preference?

    • That one looks a little different I only have two buttons on too. And mine seems to stop the water automaticly. At the moment I'm quite enjoying it only issue I have is that it's not hot enough but I end up warming the milk in the microwave before hand and popping it back in after with the coffee in it for 30 secs

      • So did you get the Simpla from The Good Guys ebay listing above and the water stops automatically?
This review talks about it being the major flaw of the Simpla http://www.gadgetguy.com.au/product/lavazza-simpla/2/ ie. not having a pre-determined espresso pour, like 40ml, which may be hard to judge manually. Maybe you mean it stops automatically after 110ml, which would be fine for lungo caps but over-extraction of espresso caps can make the coffee bitter.

    • still valid for cashback?

      • well it was until 11.59pm yesterday (7/9).
So this Thread should now be slated as "Expired"
