From 25 October 2009, Jetstar will commence domestic flights between Sydney and Melbourne's Tullamarine airport!

To celebrate, we will have 10,000 seats for only $19 for our Jetmail members only. But you will have to be quick. This super sale is only for 2 hours between 8am - 10am (AEST) today, unless sold out prior.

Sale fares are for travel between 25 October - 9 December 2009, 3 February - 23 March & 4 May - 22 June 2010. Limited availability on public holiday and event weekends (Melbourne cup, Grand Prix, Schoolies week and Mardi Gras).

With 5 direct services daily, traveling between Melbourne Tullamarine and Sydney couldn't be easier. It's just another way we're helping you to fly to more places, more often, for less!

Sale fares are JetSaver Light^ fares for when you travel with carry on baggage only, or you can choose a JetSaver fare for just $10 more for flights with the full 20kg of checked baggage allowance. Limit of 8 passengers per booking.

    Its $19 one-way. Got to the checkout screen and it crashed out on me and now the fare is gone. NOT HAPPY! :(

    Tried 3 times, all fail … even now the $19 tickets are gone on my preferred date (by the time I got into the choosing flight page) :(

    Given the severe congestion, I'm surprised anyone even managed to get a booking in. I was struggling page after… actually just getting past the initial page really. I eventually just gave up.

      There were both sales. One was for MEL-SYD and the other was SYD-MEL.

      Sat March 13 Syd-Mel, departing 16:10 and 18:00 are both $19

        thanks, yeah all the saturday flights are after 4pm. there arent any before 4pm. from what i can see.

    this is brilliant for melbourne cup. im going melbourne cup morning and coming back the next day. all for $44 (credit card fee)
