Good price, I don't like the touch pad on these though, they aren't very smooth and hard to make precise movements like closing a tab.

You found something that was a good price??

I didn't find any bargains in this catalog.

  • I did the email sign up last night, haven't received an email :(

    • I know some people sign up and get a reply in minutes. For me they take hours or even days.

Being the tight arse ozBargainer that I am, I'm not going to purchase this until I get my $5 off voucher. Whats the bet the voucher doesn't arrive until the price goes back up ;)

Also, noticed when clicking on the link, a chat window popped up on the HN site saying "Welcome OzBargainer. Bla bla bla" … so they're using referral data to track who is visiting the HN site now?! Guess if a certain item gets lots of orders from OzBargain traffic, they'll probably cancel the orders and say "those damn professionals are at it again".

    • I'm happy to pass my code on if I receive it, but always takes me ages before I receive mine.

  • I suggest not using the link if you want to sign up for the $5.00 discount.
Just google "Harvey Norman sign up" instead. They know we are professionals & Gerry doesn't like us.

    • Yeah, once I saw that "OzBargainer" message I thought the same. Different browser, straight to the HN website. Finally got my codes after waiting quite a while… now waiting for order confirmations :/

The keyboard is about the same size but no touch pad. Comes with a mouse instead.

    • Yes - one piece, no need to try and find a mouse surface.

If you don't mind another brand and a lack of hard pointer buttons there's this:

      • Oooh - I like the dual trackpad / number pad! How is this one to use? Cannot find anything online about them (they only appear to be on TGG website) - although noticed in the picture it has an American-style stupid shape Enter key, something I cannot stand on a keyboard :(

        • Not bad. Nice to have the number pad keys available when you want them , but of course there's no tactile response, just a big flat trackpad. It can duplicate the Home/End/PageUp/PageDown/arrow keys which seems more confusing than useful, but the confusing bit is mainly just the nondescript "Mode" light - if it's off, it's a trackpad pointing device.

One finger tap to left-click, two fingers drag-and-scroll, three fingers for right click.
