    world wide theres only 20 units? yea this is going to end well…

    not even worth your time trying for this one

    • +1

      You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I beg to differ as it has certainly been worth it for me considering all the cheap gear I've got from these deals in the past.

      If spending 5 minutes trying to get in on a great deal is too much effort for you then obviously this deal is not for you.

  • +1

    insufficient quantity.

    • +3

      I read all the rules before posting and couldn't find anything that it was in violation of.

      Limited Quantity
      If your deal has limited quantity, please mention it in the description. If the quantity is too small then your deal may be removed. As a guideline, less than 10 quantity of items is not enough for a deal unless the item has a high price.

      There are 20 available.

      • +2

        No, there are none available now. There might be some for a few seconds in the future.
        Think about supply vs demand here. Do you really believe the quantity is sufficient?
        A lottery is not a bargain.

        • The quantity is sufficient as per the guidelines here. I don't write the guidelines, I just try to follow them. If you have a problem with them then I suggest you bring it up with a moderator.

          Also, it's not a lottery. First in, first served. Isn't that exactly how every other deal works?

        • @kamoi:

          Also, it's not a lottery. First in, first served.

          no because the site will inevitably crash under the strain of the ddos flood and the only ones to get through will be the ones lucky enough to catch the site in between crashes aka a lottery

        • +2

          @nosdan:

          inevitably crash under the strain of the ddos flood

          That sounds like every other deal too.

        • @nosdan: If that makes it a lottery then there are a whole ton of deals that should have never been allowed on here as the OzBargain Hug of Death is not an uncommon occurrence.

        • +1

          @kamoi:
          Meeting the guidelines doesn't guarantee a good deal. 20 Units supply vs possible >100,000 demand the chance of getting one is too low.

        • @nosdan: Do you know what DDOS is? It's a type of attack not when a server can't meet a number of request from clients but when someone purposely sends requests from multiple machines and leaves them open in order to crash a server

        • +1

          @marchi:
          Do you know what a metaphor is?

          a figure of speech in which a term or phrase is applied to something to which it is not literally applicable in order to suggest a resemblance

        • +1

          @marchi: erm, as manic has already pointed out i was using it in more of a metaphorical sense because they will be flooded by millions of requests, which is exactly what a Distributed Denial Of Service attack is, distributed as in from many different machines/people, denial of service is exactly the outcome once the flood takes out the server. while a ddos (or even a dos) is usually done using botnets to take down sites targeted purposefully in this case it will be exactly the same sort of flood of connections as is seen in ddos's

          Do you know what DDOS is? It's a type of attack not when a server can't meet a number of requests

          fixed that up for you, id hate people to think your stupid or something…

          taken from wikipedia ddos page…

          One common method of attack involves saturating the target machine with external communications requests, so much so that it cannot respond to legitimate traffic, or responds so slowly as to be rendered essentially unavailable. Such attacks usually lead to a server overload. In general terms, DoS attacks are implemented by either forcing the targeted computer(s) to reset, or consuming its resources so that it can no longer provide its intended service or obstructing the communication media between the intended users and the victim so that they can no longer communicate adequately.

          if you still cant understand what a ddos actually is let me know, ill try and dumb it down to your level as best as i can

        • @nbn:

          You are absolutely right. There is no guarantee, but as a bargain hunter I really don't mind spending a few minutes trying to grab a great deal and I'm sure there are at least a few others here that feel the same way.

          I suspected this might get some negs and I'm ok with that as I understand this isn't going to appeal to everyone, but if even one member here manages to get one then it will have been worth posting.

    Do NOT add to cart before start, otherwise the cart will be emptied;

    • Oh damn. Looks like they've caught onto that trick.

      Post edited. Thanks for pointing out :)

  • +7

    Even there were 200 units it would still sell out in less than a sec. Sorry OP but my opinion similar to other neggers. It simply reminds me of the Shopping Express dream hours. Heck they are Australia only and had even lot more stock. It's almost a loop hole to advertise here (not that I think you are doing it on purpose).

  • thanks for sharing im going to have a crack :)

  • +2

    what a waste of time

  • Just a word of warning, it has a OS called "Neonado OS" so it's not an Android phone (which was what I thought from a quick glance)! So I'm unsure what their apps are like (if any)

    EDIT: Oops my bad, apparently it's some special custom version of android…

  • I did add to cart and logged into paypal and decided to pay extra for registered post but final stage confirm purchase . then the site crashed .. end up wasting of time … never try again

    • +2

      Sad. If only someone had warned you …

      • i know, whats wrong with people around here that they wont warn people that something like that would happen DAYS before it actually happens?

  • my order got cancelled too, this is absolutely BS!!

  • Anyone know if they had a supposed "2nd round?. I've never seen any email after that scam they ran
