the problem with this one was in the software side due to lack of customisation options. Any improvement on that area ? http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Mice-and-Pointing-Devices/Is-t…

same price here http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/touchpad-t650 but with free delivery, so cheaper

  • hmm, wonder if the Mac version is Windows compatible? it's Bluetooth so no need for usb dongle, i always lose those damn dongles!

  • Thanks op, got one. Looking at reviews it works well enough with windows 8.

  • I know I'm a bit late, but since this is still current…

I bought one last month from my local computer store for about $38. Had been eyeing them since new, but they used to be double the price.

Anyway, I'm happy with it under Win8.1. In Chrome (with several tweaks and an extension) and IE11 I now have smooth two-finger scrolling like a Mac. Pinch-to-zoom, though, only works properly in IE11 and metro apps (believe me, I tried several different Chromes, Firefox touch beta, the old Opera Mobile etc etc). My main annoyance is a tiny thing - the Logitech drivers invoke a "Touch Keyboard" toolbar on the taskbar which can't be disabled, and just sits there taking up space uselessly on a regular desktop. I looked for solutions to auto-hide it, but consensus appears to be that it would take an update to the SetPoint software. Also the process to sync it with the Unifying (USB dongle) Software and update firmware was a bit fiddly, but nothing serious. HTH.
