SONY XMN502 2/1 Channel Stereo Power Amplifier $39.20 @ JB Hi-Fi RRP $149 In-Store + Online

130

Found this on the JB Hi-Fi website while browsing the car audio section. As far as I can tell it looks like a normal or regular store price. Not sure why it's this cheap as they retail for $149, but nonetheless a very good deal. Not the greatest amplifier being only 2 channel and 500watt but the price more than compensates for this.

NOW AN IN-STORE ONLY DEAL HAS BEEN CHANGED ONLINE ALSO AT $39.20! NOT SURE HOW LONG THIS PRICE WILL LAST AS THE WEBSITE HAS NOW CHANGED. Was told by Sales staff the deal ends when the new catalogue finishes.

  • Amazing price and I'm trying to stop myself from buying a few of these but I had to chuckle at the comment "only 2 channel and 500watt". Ha… car audio is funny and Sonys meaningless OTT ratings are even funnier :)

Three of these banked up in a boot would make for a pretty decent system… one dedicated for the fronts, one dedicated for the rears and one bridged for a Sub. Hmm.

    • Better off with a 4 channel and a dedicated d class monoblock. Loved my jaycar digital back in my doof doof days.

      • Agreed… but can you get all that for $150 as above?

  • Thats actually a shockingly good bridged rating…
    175Wx1(4ohm-BTL)

Sony like to advertise PMPO but their tested RMS is usually true.

  • Would the wiring kit price x3 negate the savings in the triple amp set up, rather than just buying one solid performing amp?

    • You probably wouldn't buy three kits as you'd end up with surplus stuff. You could get away with one decent kit to power all three and just use a 40A or 50A fuse then just bounce the power feed from one Amp to the next. Probably not ideal for competition grade installs but hey these are just basic Amps afterall.

  • If I just wanted to add the sub to my car would this do the trick?

    • How do you get them to price match and use the online credit at the same time?

      • You would have to do it in store.

Well done, please leave a review when you get a chance.
Maybe you could give the deal a + also.

  • can anyone recommend a decent installer in Brisbane?

  • Its back to 149. Would this add much to a 4x 50 watt Kenwood with rca outs? Would it be best to add a sub or connect it go the rear / front speakers? Easily done by oneself I wonder? Thanks all

Went in-store and as it turns out, it is down to $39.20. Not sure how long the price will last but if you need one, you should go sooner rather than later :)
