  • Cool jpg. Bargain for $10!

  • If you plan on getting it delivered:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sirix-Digital-SIR999-Sirix-Sound-…

    16 cents cheaper

    • It's the same price on their online store, it's just shown as $10 yet when you add it to your cart it's $9.84.

Tempted to take a punt on this.

  • Just a stand?

    • it appears to have a speaker on each end..

  • Heh epic, bought it using PayPal, the money came off my CC, got the email from PayPal, yet GG's site said: "Your payment has not been successful. Please try again or another payment method."

Now I remember why I stopped buying off their online store..

  • No specs, no description, no reviews online. Does it need batteries? What's it compatible with? Seems cheap but it's too much of an unknown quantity.

    • these questions need to be answered… i'm keen if its a wireless speaker. but does anyone have any input to the 'worth' of this?

  • +1

Ok bought one instore . Price there was $5 instead of $10.
It powers thru usb cable or 3 x AA battries. Usb cable included
It has aux output ( aux cable included)
No wifi , no bluetooth, but still is a wireless speaker.
Just need to play music in ur device and place ur device on speaker as shown in pic .( might need to adjust device left or right for optimum sound.
This speaker has some kindda sensor to the left bottom (booklet says so)when ur device speaker needs to be facing (i think so) then dock starts working.
For $5 not a bad thing to give a try. Output Sound for $5 is good.
    Hope this helps..

    • That does help, thanks. Do you mean aux input or aux output? If output what does it do?

  • Just bought one too,Paid $9.85 in store (not sure how one could get it for $5..maybe lucky?).Price was checked twice by 2 staff..anyway not quibbled as looked OK.Sound is OK but no volume control as you need to move the music device sideways to "lower" the volume.Worked on Ipod touch Gen 5 and Ipad 4.(Didn't work on old Ipod touch though).Comments from previous reviewer all correct (except for the price I paid).Power is via USB or batteries, so NO mains required.

  • Bought 2 today. One for Xmas kringle for gift of $10-15. A bit disappointed initially. Not really a wireless speaker I am after, more like a voice box that amplifies sound. End up using it as an ipad stand - works well.
