10% off Lenovo S10e Netbook @ Harris Technology

21

I was looking around for a netbook and decided on the Lenovo for price and features using Shopbot. Cheapest price was CSW $529.
I remember my mate got a sweet deal on a special a few weeks back when Harris Technology did 60% off selected notebooks so I thought I would look.

Harris Technology not only have the Lenovo cheaper than anyone else their giving 10% off if you buy selected acessories with it. I needed to get a case and a thumb drive for Uni anyway.

I walked into North Ryde and it cost me $534.00 in total. This is a pretty sweet deal.

Yeah saw this as well and was contemplating posting it. Friday arvo I was searching around (called up lenovo after someone posted a deal with a coupon which didn't work and a staff member said HT had a really hot deal (which was cheaper than MSY).

Can you tell me if you have the fan issue as well as I'm really keen on this deal and have been watching it for quite some time. Regret not posting the deal but glad I didn't buy it on Friday otherwise the offer wouldn't have been valid.

Had this running all night installing software. Haven't turned it off yet no sign of any fan issue.

not really a good deal anymore thses notebooks usually have the fan running almost non stop, a good deal for this would be $399 the above machine also has lower resolution than the s10 and a gloss screen instead of matt

money better spent on a msi wind or asus eepc

    • Won't vote neg, as it is still a deal. But just to let you know, if you want a S10e or an S10-2, $529 is seriously really expensive.
(Considering that i got my S10, not S10e, for under $500).
Also, netbook prices have been dropping dramatically, so i would say, it's not advisable to buy at this price.
But… if you are desperate for one, its an acceptable deal.

      • Where can I get one under $500 bucks. Personally I rate the brand better than ASUS, and on top of that, I like the fit and finish as it's MUCh better than a EEEpc or Wind.

  • Its $488 at MSY so not really a deal. To get another 10% off by buying more overpriced items isn't a deal its a scam :)
