I have been looking into travel insurance and am a little perplexed by the limitations on dental which I have seen in a number of policies.
Eg. Pg 38 of your PDS -
The cost of emergency dental treatment up to a maximum amount of $500 per person for dental costs incurred which the treating dentist certifies in writing is for the relief of sudden and acute pain to sound and natural teeth.Does this only apply to cases where someone 'has a sudden severe toothache' or is this intended as a limitation where someone has been in an accident and has experienced injury to teeth?

Not sure that an Ozbargain posting from a sales rep will constitute an enforceable provision under the PDS. No doubt at claim time they will interpret it how they like.

but nevertheless worth asking. Perhaps go with another insurer who spell it out clearly.
Even after applying the 20% discount to the comprehensive policy it's still within a few dollars of Travel Insurance Direct for a 32 year old travelling to Indonesia for 16 days.
Not really discount IMO.
