      Critical Summary PDF…

Data is calculated for both downloads and uploads and rounded in KB (per session).

  • Thanks. How are their mobile data coverage compared to Virgin since both of them are using Optus network?

Virgin is very bad when my wife used it during our daily train commute from Auburn to Sydney.

You answered it yourself, they're both on Optus.

Would be a pretty good deal if I could rely on Optus coverage.

  • My son is trying to move to Spintel from Amaysim. Incredibly slow - especially when they are charging an exorbitant fee for 'Express' handling.

You are spot on. Just was looking at them yesterday, but the SIM fee and delivery held me back.
    Bye Bye VAYA

vaya increases? thought these were only for new customers??

bolt on 1gb still $7 for me.

bye bye, enjoy paying more for less! ning nong

Like for like… (ignoring the $25 waiver) this is not really that competitive.

I do like the mix and match… but it still works out more expensive than LC

I compared the Rapid 29 deal

      Vaya sh!ts on LC 29$ deal… try $18

  • Shame you can't opt out of the SMS. This is how they're subsidising the reasonable data costs. I hardly SMS these days with most friends on whatsapp or viber.

Would prefer to pay the 12c per sms rate for the few I do each month.

Think I'll keep my no longer available encore cap plan with telstra. i'm certainly enjoying the reliability of the telstra network since moving away from optus.

Correct me if im wrong (show me proff) BUT VAYA $18 plan still cheaper than spintel - $30~ for the same value.

    • I had a bad experience once. My fault. I was loading a game on my phone via Wifi, at night. Somewhere in the middle of the download, the wifi went down, and the download continued on the 3G data. VAYA did not move or show any signs of helping. Did cost me 195$. I realized later that Android lets you put a limit, and stop the data download. Afterwards you're always smarter. I like the Bump-up option. I suggested it to VAYA 1 year ago. Again, not interested. And yes, I was on a very nice $11 plan with VAYA, but the joy is over, they can "Mantain" my $11 plan, for an extra $9 fee. So yes, I am also switching to piss them of ( as if it would )

      • Why didn't u just bolt on more data? On an iPhone u can switch off mobile data per app same as android. But if u were smart u would have bolted on $7 a gb and would mb been out of pocker 20$

        • Because the bolt on isn't needed?

You don't seem to understand what he is saying?
