Webjet charge a $20 "processing fee"?!? Since when? Sure takes the "bargain" out of a budget one-way fare… Do they charge it twice for return tickets? Is there anything stopping you from "finding" the deal on Webjet then just ringing up the airline and booking it/ paying for it over the phone (i.e. are there "Webjet-only" deals which can only be booked via them) ?

    • You can always go to Expedia or the myriad of other sites with lower pricing.

      ( via adioso.com & skyscanner.com.au )

Why anyone would book an airfare via Webjet is beyond me. They hit you up a minimum $33 fee and thats just for domestic bookings, even higher for international. Webjet is best used took at the variety of actual fares available, then shoot of to the actual airline to book it.

  • Webjet also doesn't include some of the cheap airlines in their search like airasia, I think skyscanner is the best

  • Is it so that the only way to use FlyBuys points to "pay" for a flight is via WebJet?

    • That is correct. I have used my flybuys points though to pay for accomdoation on webjet- Only when I have applied an almost always available $50 webjet discount code for the accomodation and the price is cheaper than other available options. Plus booked it thru cashrewards which also pays 6.15% webjet cashback commision.
