        actually for me it does matter..

        it is in mp4, wmv etc..

        it gives better compression and smaller size than avi, mov etc..

        and it would save time from needing convert it..

    Can someone tell me why these are so popular, give only 120 degree viewing angle? And that you can't even make out number plates on the recordings?

    In comparison to something like a DOD LS430 (yes, I know, 5 x the price of this), is it even worth getting this deal instead? Just trying to decide whether to splurge 250 for a proper high quality dash cam or if this will suffice.

    Where it says it comes with a bracket does that mean I don't need to buy a separate rear view mirror clip? Do I need to buy a long cable to wire this in separately?

      Are you playing the sample videos at hd quality? You have to pick the quality to get that. Videos i have seen look great in hd and can read the number plate easy.

          I contacted their customer care team a week ago.
          It seems like the shipping will takes alot longer than i thought. =_=

      Thanks for the update. The comment on page 1 seems to indicate new stock would arrive before the 8th, now it is expected new stock will arrive between the 14th - 16th, not too impressed.

      Reading above you say all orders before September 30 had been shipped, I ordered mine on the 29th. A dashcam is a luxury and I am in no real rush to receive it, proper communication however is appreciated.

    As I mentioned above I ordered and paid on the 27th. I also paid extra for priority shipping with DHL. I was given a tracking number on the 11th, however the shipping status hasn't changed from "Shipment Information received". In other words, it still hasn't shipped from the seller.

    No response from gearbest ticketing system, can see CSgearbest "lurking".
    Opened a Paypal dispute and got a response within 10 minutes.
    Blanket response, they claim it has just been packed for dispatch and asked me to close the case so they can ship it!
    Refused to close the case as it should arrive before the Paypal deadline (not to mention you lose all Paypal protection!)

    I now have a tracking number!

      It took them a while to reply to my question. They said to wait one or 2 more days so they can ship it out, even though I have been waiting for the last 2 weeks. I will be patient though seeing as Paypal has changed their policy on disputes and escalations.

    Shipping notification last night, tracking number given. 21 days after order, 13 days after new stock 'arrived', 10 days after all orders before 30th were 'shipped'. Not impressed but hopefully it arrives soon though :)

    I placed one order with 2 dash cams last month. Paid on 26/09, and shipped on 29/09. However, it's nearly one month after the shipping, nothing received yet.

    Besides, the tracking number provided from the tracking page shows "Not found .". When I tried it on http://www.postnl.post/ with the provided tracking number, it shows the destination as ISRAEL!!!!!

    Ordered 5 cameras, was given 2 tracking numbers however?
    one for 4 cameras, and another for 1 camera. bit odd..

    in any case,
    what company does this tracking number belong to?

    please let me know how to track these numbers, not sure which website to input it into for tracking…….
