Why are strawberries cheap everywhere? Is it a bumper year or do we import them now?

I bought primo short cut bacon from a small IGA yesterday , 750g $7.99.

The porter house seems ok, is it msa?

  Won't be MSA but will probably be 'home brand' like the last time they had a similar deal. I found that they cut the meat so damn thin last time they did this special.
  Hopefully not cut as thin this time. I'll check it out later.

The strawberries are all from Australia I think, however most of them horrible. Cant stop buying them cause they're so cheap though..
