  • Could u please let me know how to do price match to buy from officework on line ?
Since there is no chance to talk to a real person

  • 1300 OFFICE (633 423)
Then Option 2 and then option 1.

I got through to someone straight away, but the total call was about 17 minutes.

They don't have a way to do price match online as the sales person needs to independently verify the the price they are matching.

comes up $13.80 postage for me.

  • Deciding between these and the Jaybird Blue Buds X. Does anyone know if its worth the extra $100 or so?

Cheaper on ebay guys. I bought during 15% sale of eBay for $59 without case. Now $69. I use cheap ($3 Tiny deal) power bank if I need to charge on the go.

      $69 without case @ MobileCiti http://www.mobileciti.com.au/plantronics-backbeat-go-2-bluet…
$65.55 with Office Works price match.

      • Mobilecity is not a deal at all as you need to add shipping whereas on ebay its cheaper plus AU stock: pro-gadgets, mobile city itself, PC byte and many more.

well, office works price match looks good but then again need to add traveling cost+time as not everybody lives within walking distance to Office Works. So, finally ebay is cheaper even with the case versioin.

    • The pouch is a charge type function isn't it?

Just pricematched the black version with OW@Clarence St. There is still one white left (with the case) and several without the case.
    Thanks OP.

Got the jabra vox instead of these when ebay had the 20%
The plantronics were available at the same time for $75 - 20%. Based on a few reviews (plantronics is okay quality), i decided to go with the younger product - jabra vox (sound quality and build quality are good with con being 30-50% less battery than competitors (backbeats and jaybirds).
One innovative feature in the jabra vox is that activating standby mode - place the back of the earphones together and they magnectically join together activating standby mode.

Tip: wear around your neck to pick up the chicks bruh.

P.s. Got it for $90 from ebay with the 20% sale.

  • Good price but "$129 elsewhere" is misleading as the regular price at Officeworks is $88. Also, need to clarify that it's only $75 if you're in Sydney, otherwise it's basically the same price as OW.

The price on the website and on the shelf is $129. I think you are confusing it with the version without the case/pouch.

      • You are right - I stand corrected.

Anyone not in Sydney managed to price match this?

      • Last I checked Clarence St was IN Sydney. Next time you decide to neg someone I suggest you read the post first. It was less than 50 characters long for crying out loud…

  • i have the backbeat FIT, much longer battery life.

but yeah, more expensive by 20-30$ (search on ebay)
    http://www.mobileciti.com.au/plantronics-backbeat-fit-headse…

plus, this one is kind of "sit" on your ear canal not meant to be inserted deep like normal ear buds.
i prefer this - always feel itchy when ear buds go inside my ear

For anyone thinking of getting these for gym, these are crap for any type of cardio. The cord has a sticky texture that catches against your skin and pulls them from your ears when you run. They are also quite heavy and shake loose eventually when moving. Not recommended but YMMV.

    • Does that include running? Running is technically cardio - that was going to be my main use.

      • +2

yes but the seal/fit and sound can be improved with foam tips. but there is no guarantee as lordsugar mentioned above the main problem is sticky cable, it gets stuck around your neck and when you move ur head left or right ear buds loosen.

  • I have this and has been using it for nearly a year now. Great for exercise, but if you're a deep bass type of person then forget about buying this. Sound quality is decent for its price point. Battery is so so and last my flight journey from Sydney to Christhurch.
