    yeah, well that's the logic I went with on the $50 Bauhn soundbar. I regretted it. It was a piece of crap, like the reviews all said, and it failed after a week. So rather than a bargain, it was just a hassle to return it, cost me an hour of my life that would have been better spent listening to a quality product.

    I've got a lot of respect for productreview, they appear to be genuine public reviews. So many sites including dick smith carry fake 'astroturfing' reviews.

  I bought one of these from the last deal. Updated the firmware straight away (googled the product number and firmware, extracted the weird *.egg extension file compressed files, placed on usb and it read it and updated) and I've had no issues yet.

  Setup was easy, plug and play, no issues.

  Sound wise I can't really comment accurately yet as when I got it the magnet was disconnected from the sub. But the other speakers sound ok.

  Haven't tried miracast but video wise it has read my hard drive and played all the files I've thrown at it so far.

  My friend got this and did not like it. Depends on what you want for quality of sound. They replaced it with a sound bar and preferred that more

      That sucks, guys. I received notification that mine had shipped on Friday, and it arrived this afternoon. Immediately updated the software, and i'm very pleased with the purchase so far.
