Spoke with Playstation support again (always an enjoyable experience - not). I have been told that they are still trying to deal with it and to "sit tight you will get your money". Knowing what the answer would be I asked if they could just refund my $80 then, which was a "unfortunately no". I raised the 30 November expiry date in original terms and conditions to activate voucher and was told that there would be a new expiry date once the codes are all sent.
I can lodge a complaint via the support@playstation option through the website if I wish. I'll decide whether it is worth my time soon or I will just "sit tight" for a couple of weeks and see.

        • @toughjudge: Are you able to submit a claim via PayPal for items not received?

        • @tomsco: I asked the girl on the phone if I would be best going through Paypal for a refund of my payment and she said I could try but no guarantee the request will be accepted (not exactly sure what she was getting at but I was annoyed and couldn't be bothered arguing as this issue isn't her fault).
I'm not surprised of late I have found it difficult dealing with SEN. I recently had an issue with a $30 code and it took almost 2 months and numerous phone calls and email to resolve (they sent me the same expired code as replacement twice and in the end just credited my account with the value, would have been so much easier to do from the start).

  • Huh, I was just thinking about this today and realised I hadn't received my voucher either. I'm struggling to find a way to contact Sony online (every "contact us" link just goes to a FAQ section) but it looks like it's a widespread issue.

Last time I did this it was fine, but this is damn shifty considering how close it's getting to the Nov 30 cutoff. Wagering they'll conveniently forget everything post-then.

So anyone get their $15? Not that it really matter at this point because I've given up :P

Nope. Still havent received mine. Contacted Sony 3 times now, nothing. Last time I ever do this. So sick of these cross-company deals falling through.

ANOTHER update. Called Sony, they said they're sorting through the claims. I got the impression though that they're only sorting through the ones that have been in contact with them though. He said it should take 12-24hrs for it to be processed and to receive credit. Man what a pain this has been.

Try giving them a call on 1300 365 911 … it took less than 5min.
