    Beware that the plasticizer in these often smell quite strongly for a long time, if it's a cheap plasticizer. I bought a mat from Bunnings at $55, and had to return it because it had such a strong smell.

      Hi Iampivot,
      Our mats don't give off nasty smells. These are high quality commercial grade.
      I personally have one here that I have to stick my nose on to to even notice a smell and even then it's very faint.

      I have been using this similar/same(?) carpet chair mat for over a year bought for less and whilst I think there may be better/thicker/stiffer ones out there (sexual innuendo aside :-) mine's been OK for the price. Currently listed at $22.36 + $7.51 postage.
