    my experience with n7105 stock rom and rooted, custom kernel.:
    setup, ok. not so hard not so easy.
    OTA update, good.
    casting videos, sometimes disconnected after few minutes.
    mirroring, couldnt. got error window "not able due to hardware error"

    Im not sure what this is for or what it does but is this like airplay on a ipad to apple tv? I have this subscription I use from overseas which will not allow to mirror/airplay to apple tv does this do the job I wonder.

      I don't think it works that way..But Why would you want to do that? You can't interact with your PC via your phone, it's just an image.

      You need Remote Desktop if you want to see your computer's display via your phone, e.g Splashtop or Microsoft Remote Desktop for IOS application.

    I bought one few months ago and it's been good. Updates often with new features. Have streamed HQ 1080P material across - range from really good to choppy depending on the connection. I casted through my 5ghz channel at 300Mbit through my Dell lappy and streams fine with some buffering at the start (5~ seconds max). Tried casting over my netbook (Toshiba NB550D and yes I still love my netbook) over 2.4ghz @ 150Mbit but the connection isn't strong enough to sustain a smooth playback.

    Screen Mirroring works ok with noticeable lag. So good for presentations. Tried mirroring videos which can be watchable but with not the best quality.

    Haven't had a need to go get myself a Chromecast instead. Will wait until new Chromecast come out before upgrade.
