  • where does the second $10 come from?

    • First $10 store credit with purchase. Second $10 referal credit.

      • The 'First $10' store credit is only for new customers to COTD, yes?

        • no, it's for anyone purchasing items from this event:
          http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/42136/

        • @jdf:

The fine print in the sale banner seems to indicate that you get a $10 bonus voucher sent to you after you've made a purchase of any item from that event, which can then only be used on items available for sale in the same event?

        • @hoju83: According to the chat rep, can be used anywhere & even given to a friend.

        • @jdf: bought but did not get any store credit, must be for first time purchase only, or for future purchases

        • @vegimate: The $10 store credit will be emailed on the 17/10. The $10 referral credit is only when you sign up using a referral code & make your first purchase.

note: the BQ CC18 is a timed charger (dumb charger).

the other, more expensive, one (BQ CC16) is a smart charger:

Am sick of retards abusing the voting system. Wtf is the reason to negative vote this comment? It's good info for anyone who wants to know the difference or wants to make a choice.

I would accept negative votes as part of freedom of epxression, what I don't understand is why the system hides the identity of people voting that way. You should only vote negative if you can stand by it with your name…

Don't worry, ozbargain members know well enough to fix that and upvote genuinely useful comments

    • Dumb Chargers aren't very useful and damage batteries especially when they are not equally discharged. e.g. charging batteries at the same time which are from different devices. They will damage batteries by overcharging them.

  • how long does it take the referral credit to be emailed?

    • I received mine in 5 min. Credit will be in your account.

      • ah yes, I see it now. thanks

  • Should I get the eneloop quick charger or wait for a deal on "La Crosse Technology BC-700"?? Thanks
    !

    • Depending on cost, the old Sanyo MQR06 quick charger is fantastic, and by the specs, the new Pano BQ-CC16 sounds pretty good too!

      • You can't get the Eneloop smart charger anywhere cheap

        • Masters still have the older Sanyo quick charger (MQR06) inc 4 x (Jap) Gen3 AAs for $30!
They were doing the Gen2s with charger for $20. But you'll struggle to find them around now!

Edit: And the new one is also on COTD here for $40, less all the vouchers, rebates, refferal links, etc.!

        • @tonester:
I know. Someone PMd today asking about the old $20 Gen2 stock and told me about this.
Absolute rogues because technically this is now superceded stock!

  • "Referral code has been exhausted"

Anyone else have a referral link they want to share?

    • +1

There's codes available in the grey box up the top - just click on the word 'random' and you'll get one of the codes that have been registered on OzBargain.

    • Hit the random referral link in the referral links box.

    • +1

You can hit the random one under the OPs if you need one.

  • Looks like COTD is getting ready to pull this deal…..it now says it expires in 5 minutes and counting.

Edit: Scrap that, it just says 59 mins countdown.

bought but did not get store credit, must be for first time purchase only!

  • Right I just purchased a camera and it requires aa batteries. So I need good rechargeable batteries and charger, so im thinking this quicker charger is best for my needs, so what are the battries that come with this? I here that the higher the better.
So im taking the masters charger deal is no longer around or worth checking out masters.
So as im a first time customer how does all this work what would this cost me and how does it rate compared to the masters sanyo one if still around.
Is this charger the best price around with or without money off let me know guys as need one for new cameravi just got today.

  • The smart quick charger is this the same one as what masters is selling for 49? As when i look this up on different sites I see Panasonic on some pics and sanyo on others masters showing sanyo this one showing Panasonic?
I take this maybe the best deal around?
Annoying thing is wished the money they gave you came off the price.
May just hold off for a deal another time

    • the panasonic smart quick is the latest model, masters is selling the previous gen sanyo model but still the equivalent smart charger. whatever is cheaper is better.

  • So the masters one on there site not a good deal as you say its the prev gen.its 49 but the one on catch of day looks like it was newer model.
Im hearing or maybe getting confused but people mention about made in japan vs china and Panasonic now doing in china just looking to get best charger and batteries for my new camera and best price.
Has the Panasonic one been a better price.?
Still think 39 is still expensive and what about battery for it im confused sanyo ones or panasinic or eneloop?

    • panasonic bought sanyo who developed eneloop :)
