I was having a browse and noticed this sale. Razer's RRP is pretty crazy but 50% off makes it pretty decent.

The title of the sale (and this post) clearly state it is 50% off RRP, I even qualified that Razer's RRP is silly (ie not indicative of street price). I am not sure what else I can do to make it clearer that the prices are good but the sale percentage is a bit inflated?

Are the mouse pads good?
I'm using a Goliathus CONTROL in rotation with my SteelSeries Mass and it is nice to use, good glide and good precision with it. The mouse mat pricing is only a little better than what you can get in stores, shipping would kill it.
I'm more used to hard pads. Is the Goliathus cloth going to be a problem in summer when everything feels hot and sweaty?
I've never had a problem with seat on either the Goliathus or the Mass, although I suspect they just absorb the sweat (my Mass, which I use more often and is all black, does have salt stains on it).
If you like hard pads then get the vespula. I've got their older exactmat and it's served me well for ~5 yrs. Otherwise I'd steer clear of anything made by Razer that has buttons, they're prone to breaking.
Totally agree, I have the control version also, pretty good, I bought it in MSY only $5 !!!! not the smallest one, the medium size, pretty good.

The Sphex mousemat is great.. it's basically a (removable) sticker which is more ergonomic as it doesn't add height to your mouse, with a great surface .. but it's not part of this sale?

Maybe I'm missing something… but the Blackwidow 2014 Ultimate on SE is $139 whilst the cheapest is $129 on staticice. The redeeming thing would be that it is free shipping.
Even the Blackwidow Tournament 2014 is the average price with the free shipping redeeming the whole deal.
The pricing I linked with StaticICE was in reference to the BlackWidow+Taipan bundle being an especially good deal.

I would agree that the PCByte offer for a BlackWidow Ultimate 2013 BF4 was a better deal, but it has expired and is a different product.
