  • Not a bad deal but i'd scrap the optical drive for a hdd, 256GB is going to last you about 5mins

If you're using 51.2GB per minute, you need to go outside. Now.

no way man, the graphics outside suck.

          @holden93: your response was…. ironic

        • @WorkAround: Why they didn't make it open for use with any laptop rather than only for use with their laptop bogles my mind. They would sell a ton of them. The only reason I can think of is if the link runs through a special port but I thought from the look of it its using USB 3.0

        • @holden93: Nice work on proving Muphry's Law there, mate.

    • How will you rip your DVD's without optical drive?

      • Simple, if you're using 256gb in 5minutes, it's because you're pirating the DVDs.

Total: $1097 + assembly fee. Prices from MSY except where noted. MSY charges $70 for the average build (no special requests/crazy stuff etc.)

Learning from Scorptec's mistakes and slapping in the 970 I see. ;)

  • I got a last week deal,really good.
They even sent me all the boxes. But I prefer pay more upgrade to i5k or e3.

  • do these guys deliver the system pre built?

    • ? This is prebuilt ?

    • Yes, it will be built

      • awesome! but you send it build? mys for example only send parts not prebuilt systems etc.

        • +1

They just said they will deliver it prebuilt…

      • Do you send the build pc anywhere in AUST, or do we have to pick it up????

  • Prebuilt with an actual graphics card, nice.

    • I'm more surprised about them using a decent power supply, well, haven't checked reviews but looks good on paper.

  • This is actually a good build for a nice price. Would be a better deal if the CPU was OC-able.

Also never heard of "Galaxy GTX970", but it's in the same price range as other 970s so I guess it's just as good (don't take my word for it).

    Thanks CPL.

They're a no-frills brand like Palit or Zotac.

Been around for at least 10-15 years now and whilst I've never personally owned one, I have friends who say they're as good as any.

This is a good deal. Also, the Galaxy is actually Galax. Merger between 2 known companies. GPU going somewhat cheaper because of that. I just bought the Galax 980 and Im happy for that. The card is very quiet. No affiliation with cpl, but I buy from them a lot.

  • +1

    I wish I had money :(

  • CPL you should extend this deal because you said its a Galaxy card when in reality its a Galax card. Am I the only one to work that out?

  • Been sending Private msgs to CPL all yesterday as i planned to buy one yet was no answer but they can reply to these posts??? Thanks for making me miss such a great deal.

    • You should email them instead.

  • Cpl customer service is the worst. Would rather pay the extra and buy elsewhere
