Apple iPad Air 2 64GB Wi-Fi $651.78 @ DWI + 1.5% Cash Rewards Cashback ($642.20)

30OFFPAYPAL

Hey guys, coming off this PayPal deal, i just bought a 64GB Wi-FI iPad Air 2 from DWI for $651.78, and am still pending the 1.5% cash back from Cash Rewards. That would effectively bring the price down to $642.20 which is 13% off the RRP of $739.

Sorry if this is a dupe off the PayPal deal at DWI. Thanks scotty for posting the deal. I've linked it in my description above, props to him. The code is 30OFFPAYPAL.

DWI has other iPad Air 2 models much cheaper off the RRP too, so if you're in for one at the moment, fee free to have a look. The current iPad Air 64GB has had a recent price slash to $619, but this is only $30 on top of that, so if all works out (fingers crossed!), then this will be a good steal.

Edit: There were only 374 more paypal offers to be redeemed when I bought mine, so this offer might expire soon :\
Edit 2: The price discrepancy is due to their 2% surcharge on paypal, which works out to be about $12.

  • Are they grey imports? Does it matter if they are? Do they charge gst? As in can I get it back at the airport

    • I'm not 100% sure. But it comes with the Australian Apple warranty, so I'm assuming they're not. And even if they were, it wouldn't matter because Apple would uphold their warranty promises. I did make sure to ask a store rep about this :)

      • They don't charge gst

  • I've read iPad wifi version has international warranty, is this correct?

    • I'm not too sure about that. In any case, i was told by the store rep that it is covered by Apple warranty, which in that case would most likely include international given Apple's policies. But don't quote me directly, perhaps chat to a DWI store rep and see what they say?

Yes. Apple Australia will honour their One Year Warranty. However, there is no Two Year Consumer Guarantee.

  • The Silver 64GB is $639 with PayPal code, meaning under $630 with cash back.

    • There's a 2% surcharge with PayPal payments :(

      • There's a 2% surcharge with PayPal payments

It is a breach of PayPal's terms to charge a fee for PayPal payments.

No that's not true. Lots of co's charge CC and PP surcharges. That may apply to ebay.

          What does this mean?

  • Might get it from Officeworks with 5% price beat - Silver 64GB would be $635

    • Would officework pm grey import?

      • They have to be certain it's a grey import - anyone know Officeworks policy on DWI?

        • +2

I think it is on their pm blacklist

        • @wtfnodeal: yep I tried and they stated no, its grey import

      • No.

  • Just bought one - It wasn't $651 but $659 after coupon + $13 surcharge for using paypal (there's really no choice that doesn't have a surcharge at DWI.)

Great price but not as OP has stated.

      • $13 surcharge for using paypal

You should report this to PayPal.
