These are sold as a UltraFire ZF-6248 Cree 3-Mode 130-Lumen LED Camping Lantern / Flashlight for around $20 delivered and Bunnings have these without the branding for around $15. They're also a pretty average light compared to many others on the market and have been out for years. I wouldn't buy another one.

Here is one from DX - http://www.dx.com/p/ultrafire-zf-6248-multifunction-cree-xp-…
Fasttech also sell them and there are hundreds on ebay.

Thanks for that - was considering getting one.

Also look the same as the Primus Super Nova 180 LED lantern…

Maybe but the dx example is Us$23 and out of stock.

I have seen similar cheaper but they are all plastic, this one says aluminium.

      • So what if the DX example was $23 and out of stock it was an example. These are sold at many many many online stores and as I said there are hundreds listed on ebay for around $20 delivered.

The one that I linked to at DX and referred to at Fasttech are all aluminium and the one at Bunnings is also identical and was $15 without the Arlec brand but now it appears to be labelled with Arlec for $20. And who cares about the body being aluminium, it only adds weight and these are lanterns intended for a static position not to be carried through the night attached to a pole.

The light itself is not all that good and I have a few other types I prefer including a coleman one from Amazon (has a rotating piece that controls the light output) and a few of the small black diamond ones.

The Bunnings one looks like Aluminium as well, for $19 including 4 x AA Duracell batteries.

Just wondering if there`s not a difference in the LED used.
